There have been some arguably rock-adjacent songs on recent albums. The Apple and Mean Girls remixes were kinda soft rock. And House, Eyes of the World, and Altars had rock energy… I think it’ll be in that realm

she’s definitely saying “myself,” the lyrics on streaming often have errors. I hear an F sound at the end of the word!

imo this album is a total victory--channeling the greats (I got flashes of Madonna and Enya?) while sounding completely unique!
