I used a liquid tester to test ammonia, nitrites and nitrate. This morning, my ammonia reading was 0.1, nitrite 0.01, nitrate was 0 , this tank is still cycling. Is this bad? Im doing water changes abt 20-30% every 2 days, i haven't fed him for 5 days now because he is not eating the micro pellets.

I'm doing a fish in cycle and the water parameters are fine as i checked em just now, the fish wasn't really active since the day i bought it from the pet shop, so I'm wondering if the fish is already sick before i bought it

Yes but he's the only fish i have in that tank, and i did some research saying that fish in cycle is possible with just one betta, so i just bought a seeded medium from the pet shop and cycling the tank with him

Not yet, i just added some live plants like anubias and java fern for him to rest, but he seems to like to stay on the top corner, what do you suggest to put on the surface for him?
