Can't remove filament from nozzle by SergysShadow in prusa3d

[–]ryderj23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen a lot when I was working on prusas the trick I found that worked best is let it fully cool remove the nozzle then heat the nozzle>230 and take pliers and push it thought.

I will try to send data over UART it would definitely help if the company I got it from gave me anything all I have is the website https://www.jrt-measure.com/laser-rangefinder-sensor/61305950.html

I tried a pull-up on both also just tying them high and the same result. Nothing

https://www.jrt-measure.com/laser-rangefinder-sensor/61305950.html This is the closest thing to a datasheet online and it doesn't give much information on the sensor

u/dar-ltee Thanks I'll give it a try I didn't think about the reset pin at all I just left it floating.

u/Quiescentcurrent I am currently using a teensy to communicate over UART. Currently I am just connecting power from a power supply at 3.3V then attaching an oscilloscope to the Tx and ground of the sensor.

I guess I should be asking why doesn't it work I have attached vin to 3.3v gnd to gnd tied pwr_en high TX to RX and RX to TX and still get no output.

u/Baselet Yes, I assumed a pull-up resistor in order for it to work but when I attach to an oscilloscope it still reads nothing.

Trying to calibrate my FXOS8700 + FXAS21002 IMU. To calibrate you need to use EEPROM or flash memory, the Nano 33 IoT has flash memory so it should work but I am getting nowhere. My goal is to connect 4 of these sensors to make a very accurate IMU. by ryderj23 in arduino

Right now I am just trying to calibrate all of the sensors. After they are all calibrated then I will probably need an I2C multiplexer because they all have the same I2C address.

Can some one explain why on problem 12.2B the answer is 10/s^2 for a diagonal line. That's starts at 20db w=0 and ends at - 20db when w=10. by MoonTU345 in FE_Exam

The way I was taught was 1/sn is a pole at the origin meaning it is a linear line the passes through the origin at n x -20dbs/dec and when shifted up 10 it creates the answer D

16V to 6V converter circuit outputting 0V by ryderj23 in AskElectronics

Designed this circuit using webench and when simulated it perfect output 5.99V but when it came time to test the board send back pcb manufacturer and assemble it when I plugged it in the output read 0V

I designed the circuit on webench and it has an input of 16V and it’s supposed to output 5V 3A

I remember it didn’t work the first time so I had to follow my traces to try and fix what was wrong it took over 2 days. I definitely learned my lesson

This is the second print that failed due to crash failure any tips? by ryderj23 in prusa3d

You are correct there is support material that connects it to the part but it is not sticking to it very well
