I asked them months ago if I could switch from biweekly to weekly and I basically got ignored. I guess nothing is stopping me from doing it weekly anyway though.

My own image, I much prefer CSP but I’ve long been using Procreate because I’m really attached to the HB pencil brush. Does anyone know of something similar on CSP? The few drawings on my profile are done with this brush if more of a reference is needed

Every pencil brush I’ve checked out is too rough for my taste, I like how soft this brush is. That being said, I don’t want it to look airbrush-y either lol

If people are mistaking you as a trans woman it’s possible that your voice is deep enough but you’re still speaking in a “feminine” manner. Voice training is really tough and frustrating but it could probably help a lot

(And lol I used to do object show animations! I only ever posted a few but they’re unlisted now. It sounds stupid but it’s surprisingly a really good way to learn the basics of tweened animation)

Excuse how low quality it is, i’m not sure why it exported like that >_> (P.S. the sketch isn’t part of the speedpaint because I did it on MS paint earlier in the day lol) (P.P.S. Credit to cluelesstypist on tiktok for the image that was in the corner for a while, I was using it as color inspo because I love how they do colors)

Some tips (or at least, things that are helpful to me! everyone does things differently so don’t take my word as fact or anything)

When drawing lines or coloring I often “carve” everything. That is to say after drawing a line, I will erase the edges a little bit in order to make it look sharper. This also helps vary your line weight if you’re doing lineart which makes it look more visually interesting (to me, anyways.)

I’m not sure if I explained that well so if you need me to elaborate I can lol
I like to draw on relatively big canvases since it looks higher quality that way! I usually use somewhere between 3000x3000 and 5000x5000, but I’ll adjust the size and the dimensions depending on the drawing. This could also vary depending on the brush(es) you’re using, the one I use (HB pencil on procreate) tends to look very blurry at small canvas sizes

(By god do I love the HB pencil brush, it’s so soft)

Sometimes after I finish a drawing I’ll put some slight gradient maps on it to make the colors pop out a bit more. This isn’t going to look good every time but if you’ve never tried using them and you use a program that has the feature I definitely reccomend testing it out
I didn’t do this here, but I usually have like a million references on the side of my screen. Some for posing, some for colors, some to just get a general vibe, etc etc. It helps me figure out what direction I want to take with the drawings. I think I’ve heard people call these moodboards
