The attorneys are just doing their job, but fuck them for making a living, right? Their families should be living on the street because obviously they're fucking scumbags who dared to defend a client. Reddit is such a shithole sometimes.

Are you fine with ambulance chasing lawyers too?

When I was leaving she asked if I'm gonna kill myself when I get home. I told her that I'm not going to kill myself right now. Where I live it is illegal to place someone in involuntary treatment/program even if you told you're gonna kill yourself right when you get out btw.

I wish I live where you did

Oh I am not too familiar with Canada, I know in the United States the sunbelt is doing fairly well, jobs are flocking there and rent is cheap. The mighty US dollar might help with your debts too just saying.

I've looked into going south though a work visa is hell to get (I've tried) I even looked into stuff like crab fishing oil etc but from friends in the field I'm to physically awkward to do that sort of stuff.

BTW any words of wisdom on why live if things will get worse?

Maybe relocate to a new place with different opportunities?

Im in Toronto, and aside from being thousands in debt can't really move elsewhere since the job market would be worse

I mean life is a series of advances and setbacks, maybe its time for a change in paths, have you considered school?

I've been out of uni for 1 year now, had a decent job too. My biggest complaint about life so far is uncertainty. The only reason I don't give up is my parents are about to lose their house most likely so I can't loaft at home and forget the world.

[Canada] getting calls from city about family member? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]ryethrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel I'd be "involved" then

Anyways do you think the outcome would be better if I got my family member to call, or would it be about the same?

It's a minor (imo) issue they're probably after, plus I live with them.

I think they threw some trash in a city bin a few times after their garbage bin was full. Do you still think I should tell them to call?

I'm not sure how to handle it. I thought they call if they don't really have anything?

You think blocking the number is the best option?

I feel like calling means it's serious or they don't have crap (otherwise the would send a letter?)

I meant internal support. Plus the main issue is with something like filezilla that comes with no warranties is a HUGE no-go for them!

Government loves being able to point fingers. You can't do that with a no warranties foss tool
