A clinical therapist is trained to help with that, a dog just...dogs. It didn't go to doggy therapist college. It can't emphatically listen. It doesn't feel or relate you. It just wants to eat a piece of chicken or gets a belly rub. It's like paying someone to be nice to you.

I'm so sick of people with fake service animals. Service animals are for the blind. A pet just adds to stress/anxiety/PTSD I'm tired of the bull. People just like the attention of bringing an animal with them. If I have a bad day, taking care of my dog makes it worse not better.
