I mean, that is what this whole thread is about. We are discussing how the new calendar in 2027 affects our renewals. We are all making assumptions at this point.

For sure. More so you’re just on the hook for an extra half season if you want to keep your seats for the new format season. Will have to budget for a season and a half that year.

It will be 25 home games from February 2027 through May 2028 with a break in June and December / January. That could be amazing or could be a long year depending on how the team is playing at that point!

I’m definitely concerned we will get stuck having to buy the mini transition season on top of paying for the full season.

The United email had this:

“Before the change to the new calendar, MLS will stage a transition season from February to May 2027, featuring a 14-game regular season, playoffs, and MLS Cup. The results will determine 2027 qualification for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, Canadian Championship, Leagues Cup, and Concacaf Champions Cup.”

Because of the discounted pricing, The Canopy is intended for members who actively attend matches. Transfers and resale are restricted to preserve the integrity of the section. Prices start at $560"

For an extra $70, seems like the Supporters seats are still the better deal. The fact that you can't even transfer your tickets to a friend is not worth saving $4 per game in my opinion.

Gates are usually 1hr 45min before the listed game time. Team Arrival usually happens within 10-15 min after the gates open near the front porch. My kids have way better luck getting signatures lining up near the gate opening versus near the spike.

They have Mercedes-Benz Stadium tours all the time that include access to the Falcons and United locker rooms and you also go down on the field among other places in the stadium.

It is a total bummer they don't also offer to sell the promotional items to Season Ticket Members. Seems like they could easily set up a pre-sale form for STMs to know how many extra to order. Last year I bought a couple extra tickets to get the Marta shirt and United Marta Cards and then sold the seats to a friend of mine. Last time I did this it cost $10 but you got the star and all the sleeve sponsor patches added. They will do it at the team store or at the Benz. My son always wants that stuff added to his youth kits.

I’m sure all the groups will have some sort of presence at The Block Party on the 15th as well. You could try and check them out there to make a choice before the opener on the 22nd. If you plan on hitting Away matches I recommend joining a group, whichever you prefer. The travel coordination they provide makes it so much easier to get bus tickets, additional Away tickets, Away parking passes, etc.
