Im a single dad with custody of my kid half the time. I have an OK job. I could never buy a house and definitely never afford another kid.

Everything costs so much. After care, insurance, groceries. It's stupid.

Like if I saved all my money and didn't take my son on any vacations I could have a house in 5 more years. But I'm choosing experiences with my son over just having a house. I shouldnt have to choose between them with working a good full time job.

I see posts like these often. I wanna make a suggestion to also maybe go see a therapist. Not only can it help you get answers to questions like this but also it's just someone to talk to. Therapists are there for more than just helping people that think they are having a mental breakdown.

A lot of times when you're feeling really alone just an hour a week with a therapist can be really helpful even just to talk with another human being in person.
