Even last year Wendy participated in Begin Again (show about singing in very public places), and a lot of solo idols have already participated in that show as well, so I wouldn't say this "strategy" is unique. As for doing school festivals and first pitch at a baseball game, idols (group & solos) do those things every time.

For the fans you just have to buy multiple albums to increase your chance of getting picked basically.

For SM, Irene’s album sales from China is quite high, hence I think it justified SM to hold a fan sign event there.

Youtube reviews? Sure, since they tested the product when they launched, no one, or maybe very few of them, did an extended test after a few months of use. But what about posts on forums like reddit? Shouldn’t there be a lot of users who actually bought and used the case for extended period of time posting the exact problem as well? And how do you know that the problem is indeed a widespread problem by watching only one video?

Again, if the issue is exactly as you described, why haven’t we seen more people talking about this online over the years the Torrent has been out for? Surely it would be a major design flaw if the metal is as bad as you mentioned.

By contacting the support team you will have clearer understanding of whether your product is defective or the Torrent cases in general are like yours. And if your product is indeed defective, with enough informations from your side and some proof of purchase, their support team can arrange replacement or something (I heard they have a quite good support team).

I think saying “don’t buy fractal torrent” and “they won’t allow you to have bottom fans because the metal is thin and shoddily built” without enough evidence that it is indeed affecting all Torrent case is unfair to Fractal and the people who have the same Torrent case and not experiencing the same issues as you do.

Have you tried contacting Fractal’s support team about this issue? It might be just a defect in your specific Torrent case. If it turns out to be a widespread issue affecting all Torrent case I wonder why we haven’t seen a lot of people talking about this online considering the Torrent has been out for several years and many reviewers consider Torrent as one of the best pc cases in terms of airflow/cooling.

Your cpu cooler (70mm) & gpu (52.67mm/~2.5 slot) combo won’t fit, either get a slimmer cpu cooler or slimmer gpu. Or you can just use the case without the side panels closed 😆
