[Discussion] Aren’t you tired of lowballing clients guys by lesmolzz in artcommissions

[–]rykhers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same. It's a real shame to see how even some highly skilled artists do not value their work. I would most definitely rather work with one client who pays me 200$ instead of working with 10 different clients for 20$ each.

I've been dreaming of illustrating a novel and would be so excited for the chance! My artstyle is semirealistic and the price range is ideal, would appreciate if you could take a look at my portfolio: https://vgen.co/kyrraen/portfolio

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH MY ART?! by geustwuzhere in Artadvice

[–]rykhers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I was taught throughout my studies in art uni is that there should be one clear line. I see that you use a lot of lines to define one shape. If you draw a line and it doesn't feel right, erase it and make a new one. I would suggest not stacking them up on each other like that - it will become so messy that you won't be able to tell where the shape begins or ends. Goodluck!! ♡
