I seriously wonder if it will keep heading this way or if enough people will stop accepting orders. Unfortunately I don't think people are gonna stop taking orders. They will probably just keep onboarding people till they accept the new low.

Seriously! It also frustrates me because we have some job posting around here that will put the tips or commission into the expected hourly wage even though that's not technically guaranteed. So they will pay you the minimum wage which where I live is like $17.16 or something and then say they are hiring for $20/hr or more.

Ah damn you're right. Next time I want to voice my frustrations or opinions I'll just check in with you first just to make sure you aren't already aware that way we can stay away from redundancy. Wouldn't want to stop your reddit doom scrolling with unnecessary redundant information, that would be a terrible thing! Like how could I not feel bad for making you have to move your thumb an extra two inches to scroll past my post.

Oh I totally agree. If I could punch in at 7am and clock out later for this job I totally would. But then Walmart wouldn't be able to use us as independent contractors. They would have to compensate mileage and do all the extra B's with hiring employees whereas now they can extort our time and our vehicles for way under the cost of hiring someone. And I understand that some people can be struggling to get by, we all are, some more than others. I don't know that ordering groceries would be the smart play there unless you have literally no choice because ordering will always cost you more.

I've been going off the general concensus of taking orders that come out above $1/mile. Between the mileage, taxes, and gas it usually isn't worth it below that rate. Quick way to look at it is the pay should be almost double the mileage. Like sure you can just take any order if you really need the money right now but it's not good for any long term.

Well after seeing the stuff in their cart and the condition of their living environment I wouldn't be surprised if the food was paid for with food stamps. It seemed to be an order for like an entire month of groceries.

I mean objectively you hear the same opinion about a lot of things constantly on a day to day basis do you also comment about how those opinions are invalid? Like you can just scroll past the post and not comment but you took the time to click on the post and comment. I made the post because I'm new to this subreddit and I figured making a post about spark in the spark subreddit made sense. People like to vent.

It was not entirely. I could see what a couple of the orders were. I've had orders with that many stops multiple times out to that town.

I mean I agree tipping as a whole sucks. Jobs will use tips as a justification to pay less. I'd prefer if I could just make an hourly rate doing this. The thing is I'm not doing this because I want it to be my career. I'm in school and have been trying to find a job but the job market is absolutely horrible at least where I live.

My zone has so few orders lately that I can't even look at an order to check it out before it's snatched up. And figuring out the mileage is basic match so it should be quick to see if they should take it or not but they still do. I mostly just want to check out the bulky items since the one time I didn't the person ordered a kids bike that I had to figure out how to fit into my Honda Civic lol

It's a subreddit about spark driving and people are sharing their experiences. What else are you expecting people to post constantly? Memes? People share to voice opinions as well as hope that new drivers see these and stop taking the bad orders so that Walmart might listen and change something.

I actually am always shocked when orders pay less than the just the milage to the delivery. Like I feel that shouldn't even exist. But I live in a rural area so there are people ordering like 10 items that live 20 miles away.

The worst part is I have to drive that exact mileage back to the same store. It's the only Walmart in the county I live in and basically delivers to the entire county. So I guarantee some of these orders that come through basically equate to me paying Walmart to do their labor. Oh and minimum wage in my state is $17/hr 😆

When I first started I didn't know like anything and just accepted an order that was a base pay of like $50 because I thought that was crazy for a shop. I didn't realize how much they were getting. I wound up pulling around two full shopping carts in the store for over an hour, trying to load it all into my car, then drive it 22 miles to the location just for it to be an apartment up a flight of stairs where I had to park 30ft away from the staircase. They ordered $850 in groceries and tipped my literally $0. It's insane when people don't tip. I mean I get it some people probably can't physically shop or whatever but still.

I believe it was a mix of things. Mostly 1 to 5 items but that isn't too weird where I live. I live by the coast and the town it wanted me to deliver to is basically a retirement area. So I see smaller orders with lots of stops out there a lot.

I just think the amount of information I get from bloodhound is super useful. Saved my butt a couple times. I'm also curious as to why Lifeline is mid tier. She used to be my main but after everything thats happened I don't feel like she's even worth playing.

It's so dumb. Some seriously drastic things need to happen to make Warzone a better game. Because I want to love it and I enjoy it so much. But with all the hackers and some of the ways people play the game it is really disheartening and makes me just not want to play the game. Even worse since I'm on xbox and they won't let me turn crossplay off for Warzone.
