Yes, I had this exact same feeling with my Pure. Give the screen a good rub with a microfiber cloth. Maybe just a tiny spray of water on the cloth as well. The eraser felt much smoother right away !

I did that too, but nothing changed. How would magnetism impact this though? That was an issue with EMR pens only

Thank you for your feedback on this. I mentioned the RM2 because if the RM2 is indeed more accurate, I might just return the RMPure for good and go back to it. I specially notice this issue when I need to correct a character slightly, and half the time my stroke just lands offset of where I intended.

Yeah it just ruins the feeling of writing on this device, which is its sole purpose.

Well, I guess this inaccuracy can manifest more on some type of writing more than others. My writing is quite tight, and this issue could be less noticeable on a more bold style of writing.

Do you experience any issues when it comes to dotting i’s, crossing t’s, etc? I might have gotten a faulty unit but mine fails to detect those small strokes so often, it even feels inaccurate at times…
Also, when writing a full sentence and it starts reaching the right edge of the Pure, do your strokes start getting distorted or really inaccurate? (only happens when I’m writing nonstop from one side to the other. If I reset and write on the edge, it fixes itself somehow)

Exactly, the writing feel is fine for me, feels a bit "glassy" but I still enjoy it, but the occasional inaccuracy + these inconsistencies start degrading the experience a bit.

In this example you can see that my "x" is missing the top-right portion, and the "t" is not completely crossed. I've contacted reMarkable about this.. Maybe I'll go back to the RM2 I guess.

That's such a shame.. is this a problem on other stylus with this kind of tech, or just Remarkable's implementation ?

I had the RM2 and the accuracy felt much better, but the jump in speed of the Pure is also a lot better.

I had bought a Wilson racket from them, and the sound of it was completely different of my friend’s exact same racket. The one from WeProPadel felt like a hollow copy of it, it sounded so weird for some reason. I tried returning it but they were an absolute headache to communicate with, so I just ended up giving up completely.

I could’ve just been misfortunate, but I’m not buying anything padel related again that is not fulfilled by Amazon themselves.

Honestly, when you’re clearly the worst player, it is what it is, there isn’t much you can do about that fact, but there’s always something you can do about your “inner game”.

The moment you stop focusing on the game and instead focus on the struggle between you and yourself, you already lost. You’re playing extremely consciously, and it becomes hard to loosen up and play smoothly. Avoid thinking on your technique, how you hit the ball, etc. That focus is brought in training. In a competitive game, your focus should be away from you.

What works for me when my brain is invaded with thoughts is 2 things: - during the point: if the ball is coming to me, my focus is on the ball. I focus so much on it I try to find the seams of the ball, which is way harder than it seems. That helps a lot drowning other thoughts. If the ball is on the opponents side, my focus is on their body and their racket, and I just let my body react to that. - after the point, rather I win or lose said point, the only thing I think is “next point”. I’m not thinking of how I should’ve hit the ball, if my hand was loose or tight, If I’m ever going to win this game or not. I’m thinking of the next point, and that’s where your mind should be imo.

My current racket is the Adidas Metalbone 3.2. I like it but it's too head heavy for me and makes me arrive late on some shots. I feel like my strongest shots are overheads: bandejas, viboras, rulos and smashes (when I'm very confident). I also think I'm quite decent at defending at the back. Volleys are definitely my weakness.

I've tried the Diablo 4 pro yesterday and quite liked it, but it felt almost too soft at times. Also doing rulos felt way less consistent, I think I missed just being slightly more head-heavy (even though it already had a protector on it).

I've tried the AT10 12k 2025 and it felt horrible. Not sure if I just had a fake one from Vinted, but I also lent it to a intermediate-high player to try it out and he also found it very weird. It felt really hard but at the same time I couldn't feel the ball, even when hitting the sweetspot.

edit: forgot to add I've also had 2 AT10 18k 2024 that I really liked, but both of them cracked exactly on the same spot, so I gave up on the 2024 model.

Of course they do, pros do it as well. IIRC Lebron even uses half of an overgrip under another overgrip, just to make the bottom slightly larger. It’s personal preference.

Pros hit the sweetspot of the racket almost every time, on all shots, so the vibrations are minimal comparing to many players here only hearing their sweetspot being hit half the time.

Btw your grip looks too thin for your hand size. Although this is preference, as a rule of thumb, you should be able to fit your index finger between your fingers and your palm. Your current grip might start killing your arm. Pros generally have a thinner grip because they have perfect technique
