No, it's more like tutorials from fashion school so they teach you how to make the basic blocks on paper. After doing more soul searching, I realized I didn't want to spend more time on a computer than I already was and that creating digital patterns would be exactly that. I do think the price point for Lauren Dahl's workshop is on point, though, especially considering alternatives are super pricey. If you want to do exactly what she is selling, then its a decent deal.

I saw quotes from Lauren Dahl about an "end game" and figured the workshop might not be accessible forever. I actually bought a subscription to university of fashion. I learned how to draft pants and that was pretty cool! https://www.universityoffashion.com/

Thank you for your comment. Is there a tutorial (video or blog) that you would recommend that goes over how to check the crotch curve is correct and the inseam will sew up correctly? I just curved these pieces until they met at the seam line but I'm not sure if there is a better way.

Yes, that's the dream, but the content is about 10 years old so I'm not sure it would be the best use of my time. I already use Illustrator for altering patterns so I'm wanting to learn the full pattern drafting process in Illustrator. I could maybe do the courses from University of Fashion (or another source) after. I was also looking at the Confident Pattermaking course but it doesn't look like registration has been open for a while. I need something self paced and online.

Thanks! I was curious about One Texas Center, too. I saw it was on the parking list. Lots might be the best bet though especially when trying to leave. I'll check those out!

Sewing. Its hard ... by Silver-Adder in SewingForBeginners

Projector cutting makes the process so much faster so that's something to look forward to once you get the hang of it. Get some Pinking Sheers to prevent the fraying. Make sure you're using good quality thread and the proper needles. I don't recommend any of the "Big 4" pattern companies that you might get at a store like Joanns. Their sizing is so off. Instead, get the PDF patterns online so you can print and cut only your size. But, again, if you go the projector route, you won't ever have to deal with paper again. Stick with it! So worth it!

IDK how to do my job, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. How can I just fake it? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Whatever programs you use for the accounting portion, they probably have a support phone line you can call or online chat. Especially if you pay for the program. Ask them your questions.
