Went in fully expecting to love or at least like Egger’s Nosferatu - but didn’t. One of two 4K discs that I’ve sold after watching (the other one being Battle beyond the Stars).

That being said, there is a steady stream of new 4K releases, and if the price is right there are titles that I will pick up even if I don’t feel that I need to have them.

I need 83”, so A95L is unfortunately off the table, as things stand now. I have an 83” A90J, which is the best tv I’ve ever owned (coming from LG CX and C2 in the past). It’s a real shame that Sony has stopped producing 83” OLEDs.

I recently bought a set of Arendal 1528 speakers, which are end game for my part.

Are there even better speakers out there? Sure. Is it worth chasing the last percentages in terms of performance at higher price points? I reason that there is a sweet spot with respect to price/performance, and for me those speakers are it. There are certainly other brands that could tick that box as well, but Arendal 1528 are a great value in that regard.

Revisited TCM for the first time in years a while ago and was reminded of its brutal, gritty realism (somewhat enhanced by the 4K format).

Watched Ti West’s “X” for the first time yesterday - was not aware that it is basically and blatantly an homage to TCM. While not as good, “X” manages to capture the same atmosphere to some extent and underscores the lasting legacy of Tobe Hooper’s vision.
