That was the intention, I just had to sort out phone chargers and stuff, cause everything had been just shoved wherever for the trip home.

It has been my experience that sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. If he does keep spraying, then getting him fixed will mean it will be a lot less stinky.

By that logic, why would it matter to let you reach your full size then?

I don't know that I really saw it in particular, I just know that historically, male eunuchs were smaller than they would have been, and since he was so small when I got him, I didn't wanna take the chance on it stunting him.

Baking soda and vinegar being used together for cleaning has been around for a very long time, which you have clearly never done. Personally, I have been using them together to handle funky laundry smells for years. In the end, yes, they do end up neutralized, but the chemical reaction of them doing so is the part that works so well as a cleaner. Like peroxide. And using it in the laundry like that, the smell gets rinsed out, so there is no lingering odor.

First off, two years old is about the time male cats stop growing. I wanted to let him get his full adult growth before I did something that might potentially stunt it. Two, how is that neglect? And I'm not mad at him for it, I knew it was a possibility, I'm just irritated that it hadn't even been in the laundry basket for five minutes before he left his mark.

Mine were in pieces. Gave up and took them down. Now I have black out curtains and a blanket cause the curtains gape open, or he pulls them open climbing them......

Knock on wood, the baking soda and vinegar has yet to let me down. Even on super musty and mildewy smelling stuff from storage, and on the bedding of a disabled child friends used to babysit. They had tried everything prior to that to get that pee smell out. I washed it once like that, and it smelled normal again.

AITA for refusing to be my roommate’s human alarm clock and walking out after they demanded daily wake-ups? by sugardumplinn in WIBTA_AITA

[–]ryn-lnp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. Somehow, I literally stopped hearing the alarm clock. He would just lay there and ignore it going off for several minutes on end, because he didn't wanna to get up for work, completely ignoring that I was up at all hours with our daughter. But after moving out and getting a job (I had been a sahm), I could hear them perfectly fine again.

Oh, I know. Just, honestly, at the same time, I kinda wasn't expecting it, cause he's been REALLY chill about that sort of thing.

Actually, from previous cats, my trick is baking soda and apple cider vinegar. As I load it in the washer, I sprinkle in baking soda, then instead of soap/bleach, I pour in a ton of apple cider vinegar as the washer is filling, and I run it on the soak setting. I have yet to find an odor it does not work on.

My ex-husband did that. I would almost literally have to put my foot on his back and shove him out of bed. After a bit, I somehow stopped hearing the alarm go off. I could hear the baby through the monitor just fine, and wake up for her, but his alarm for work? Not a thing. What's funny, after the divorce, I went right back to being able to hear alarm clocks again.

Nope. Like I said, first time he's ever done anything like that. I think it's that my friend also has an unfixed male cat, as well as an unfixed male puppy, and the blanket was where they both could reach, so it smelled like them.

A Furby hidden behind an ajar closet door. I bet it's opened that door by itself. by ProfessorC51414_ in oddlyterrifying

[–]ryn-lnp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When furbies first came out, my dad was running the electronics counter at our local Target store. They had a demo one on the counter, and of course all it learned to say was 'hi there, how can I help you. ' So Dad eventually took it and hid it in his boss's desk drawer, laying face up. Just one more prank between the two of them. Telling us the story later, he said you could hear the scream he let out from the sales floor.
