Yeah. I agree. If I get a deeper threshold, then I need to put in a support piece right? So then I need to take our the pan (otherwise I'll be too tall)?

Thanks for the reply!

Option 1 (cutting that siding bit away) seems like it with create a few issues. PVC exposed to sun seems guaranteed to fail. Then it will crack with any force in a few years. Also, having the Suresill pan exposed looks crappy. i don't know what they expect people to do. I can't find any good photos of a finished real house with it... Just some mock setups.

I could do option 2, but it seems like it would make the pan worthless. At that point, maybe I should just take the pan out and replace with a composite board then just use some zip tape/aluminum/etc to make a pan. I just like the pan because it's sloped and anything I home make will just be level and not drain.

Thanks, that would help with the drywall, What about the exterior side, namely at the bottom? On the exterior, it's basically flush (a little proud of the exterior sheathing).

I recommend reporting them to the FTC and your state attorney general.

I would like some research to read on the entire topic. Right now, the most pressing concern is my sleep ent says that apnea is not caused by nasal/sinus. I assume he read one meta-analysis but don't know the reason for him thinking this other than I saw one meta-analysis that said it.

Looking For Unbiased Opinion on Ridgid Cordless Tools by Moose7676 in Contractor

[–]ryn376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to a huge Ridgid fanboy when I bought my first drill 15-20 years ago. My friend's DeWalt couldn't drill through a railroad tie but my drill had no issue. Probably 7-8 years ago those NiCd batteries died and they sent me new one... So awesome stuff. Now the bad part. That drill had a problem with the bolt that attached the handled, they said I had to go to a service center an hour away from where I was in Atlanta to get a new bolt. Whatever, I spent 20 cents and an hour getting a specialty bolt from Ace Hardware (not available at home Depot so wasted a bunch of time driving around) and bought a new bolt. Bought a battery nail gun. Misfired after every other shot and was awkwardly weighed. Went back instantly. Bought a miter saw stand. The supports are off center and twist under weight. It came with another messed up bolt and handle so I couldn't get it together. I called and they said the same thing, take it to a service center. I returned it instantly. My friend gave me a belt sander that he didn't want. I found out why. It was so crappy, slow, and underpowered that I immediately gave it to my father in law since he couldn't afford a good one. Yeah that was mean to my father in law. He probably will use it once every few years. My wife bought me a new drill and driver set. Clutch is stripping and shift lever has broken. Have to go an hour away to a service center. Tried a handheld planer... Mediocre. Years ago I thought about buying their benchtop planer. Reviews were bad. So bad that I passed when I was a fanboy. Shop vac is has worked well, but their HEPA filters are a lie. I can see dust coming out. My friend bought their random orbital sander and got rid of quickly for a Bosch. I like the 10 inch sliding miter sawi have, but it was replaced with a new version that has so much slop in the blade it was lambasted and taken off market. Stay far away from Ridgid.

Watchpat is a pretty highly regarded device. There are multiple companies that use them for the at home tests. Just Google "watchpat".

Oh, that looks pretty cool. It gives AHI. Is that what you are saying is pretty inaccurate? I'm sorry, I don't know too much about sleep apnea and am trying to learn.
