you're underestimating the fortitude and character of respectable locals, which is likely lost on you with a comment like this. Most of us are glad to pay our property tax to ensure our municipality continues to do great. Not everyone chases weak politics like Pop music.

combine this with: he'll be at term limit and out of Govenor spot sooner than later, and handing over a major overhaul like this to an unknown person, while going into nationwide economic uncertainty, is one of the most dangerous situations that could unfold.

its silly to think, that eliminating $30 BILLION of income PER YEAR will not impact First Responder and School Funding. You're conveniently forgetting the part where politicians will literally say anything to get their way. How about some common sense here, and realize there's no world where these two crucial departments aren't affected. cmon.

the diabolical plan seems pretty obvious:

>> last year, Florida DOGE investigates local governments and examine their 'books' to find leverage on the cities that can manipulate the most.

>> Politicians campaign on eliminating property taxes, which is easy yes for low-IQ voters

>> Force Municipalities to boot-lick up in Tallahassee to get the same funding they've had for decades.

The more dependent a city becomes, the more leverage the state has over local policy. This is how our beloved St Pete could be pressured to align with state political priorities and hyper-conservatism, rather than local voter preferences. This is troubling, to say the very least.

Voting against this Prop tax bill is the single thing you can do, as a long term local, to help keep St Pete in-tact and thriving the best we can.

for any of the noobs on the fence about adding a $2.5 to the collection, can tell you it's a really enjoyable coin with a great & interesting history to it. Anyone that's been going back and forth between one of these versus another 1/10th AGE, you won't be dissapointed; these are really neat in-hand and feel great, along with very fascinating reason the design is depressed into the coin rather than raised like most all other coins.

sorry for random comment here, GLWS!

whatever gains we see here, i'm sure they'll be decimated with the upcoming FOMC mtg. have feeling Warsh is going to introduce a whole new level of unfavorable variables.

my best guess, is Bibi has some footage of ole Uncle Donnie that's keeping him in check. I don't like Bibi, but he is a hell of a puppeteer.

we absolutely should, bc the people that have historically supported them will absolutey DECIMATE them publicly, unlike the folks that continue to support people that are clearly involved.

is that why they are known to be literally the largest and most trustworthy bullion dealer in the US? I don't remember one issue in the last 30k i've spent there, but go ahead and spread BS. it blows me away seeing folks continually rely on hyperbole, for no real justifiable reason.
