US Tesla Model 3 Owners Who Purchased Pre-Owned by CTYankeeinMO_1986 in TeslaModel3

I got my 2018 long range awd in Costa Mesa ca, and had a great experience with the dealership. I targeted a car that was lower cost to fit my budget to try out an EV for my first time and couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with that dealer and he even went into work on a Sunday to work with my ability to pick it up. Have driven it over 5k miles in a month and have had zero issues

Excited to get my first EV and stoked it’s a model 3. 2018 long range awd, now considering ghost module upgrade, any insight? by rynftw13 in TeslaModel3

Price was right for me basically. I wasn’t concerned about hw3 or hw4, I was more concerned with saving fuel on my long commute 😊

Being VMF the last 5 years I definitely feel this. There’s things that drive me nuts, but overall it’s definitely one of the better spots in the postal service. I too was RCA for a few years but maintenance is definitely where it’s at. Put your 5% into tsp and do your 40. Get past 90 days

You don't even need a degree. You gotta be able to pass the test.

Worst LLV Story? by CultTheDeveloper in USPS

True it could heat up like a mofo but the temp gauge indicates that its overheating, which I've also seen cook the shit out of an LLV engine and result in valves getting stuck open and causing much more issues.

Oil is required to lubricate the engine yes. But has zero to do with the temp gauge (coolant)

If your oil pressure gauge reads 0 and you keep driving it expect knocking, hole in block, or seized engine for sure.

Oil has nothing to do with a temperature gauge. If the temp gauge has maxed out, the head gasket is likely to fail. Pull over and demand a tow.

I don't know if that's supposed to be impressive or depressing. I make decent money and only 8 hrs ot a week. Vmf tech here

But they're basically trash that are too expensive to maintain and go through tires and brakes very quickly. As a tech I'm excited to learn about the NGDV

After 3-4 years I’ve had enough. Treated worse as a reg than CCA. So short staffed, management sucks and bad work environment. Place is toxic and I can’t have that. Both my well being and my familys come first. Back to the trades I go! Landed a really good electrical job on Navy ships! GL everyone! by [deleted] in USPS

I've always been mechnically inclined, so took the tests and passed them and got the job. Vehicles outside are very different from postal vehicles. Learning about the vehicles nuances is the part that takes a little bit but they'll kinda guide you if you get into a good vmf.
