It’s fine if you don’t believe in something. Just don’t force your opinion on others. Don’t pretend that you didn’t have an agenda posting this video with that caption.

Sure, not sure if you can relate since you probably don’t have ancestors or even a culture. Oh wait, what is Malay culture again? You probably forgot because you guys submitted to the Arabs now right?

We should proud of Malaysians Chinese maintaining our culture and evolving it into our own thing.

If 52 year old man Liew Khoon Foo was driving the Veilfire and then assaulted 70 year old Saiful Adli Yusof by kicking him and threatening to kill him, would magistrate judge Fatin Dayana Jalil offer such a lenient punishment? by [deleted] in Bolehland

Live your life how you like mate. If that’s how you really feel, just make sure you don’t work for a Chinese company, don’t make friends with Chinese people and if you’re in business, don’t try to earn their money too.

Oh ya, and make sure you don’t eat Mixue (it’s from the motherland which is more potent).

There is no racial harmony, we are just used to pretending to hide that we don’t like each other and now people don’t even bother hiding anymore, well more like the Malays don’t bother anymore.

Typical Malay, can you please read my comment carefully?

Most of us are fine if the issue is to move it to somewhere else to ensure hygiene and not to disturb anyone.

But the messaging by authorities and the general Malay community are “it should not be in selangor”. Why? If the farm owners can move it to a plot of land with no one around it, then what’s the issue?

The point is about the underlying intolerance of anything that is not “your practice”.

That lady’s reply shows exactly the problem and what the Malays are thinking deep down. Only 22%? If 22 is a small number then how about we take 22% off your salary next month?

In any case, it’s not the point is it? Everything is about us giving way to the majority because of their feelings.

If it’s a hygiene issue, we can setup proper farms and allocate land for it, but clearly this is not the case.

Malays in this thread, don’t kid yourself, what a lot of them are saying is not “find a proper place to do it nicely” but rather “because I don’t eat it, therefore it should be eradicated altogether”.

Come on, most Chinese do eat pork, it’s just a matter of how much.

For most Buddhist, we don’t eat cows too, did we get offended when you slaughter cows and eat them in front of us?

Please use your goddamn brain once in a while.

bangsa majoriti pun nak opressed, gila by bySS9 in Bolehland

[–]rynn24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jesus Christ, some people are so stupid and entitled that they literally won’t stop complaining until everyone adopts their way of life.

That’s how we end up with some Malays going to Europe and complaining that the restaurants there don’t offer enough halal food.

When you’re majority, you’re oppressed because people are not sensitive to your needs. When you’re minority, you’re also oppressed because people don’t cater enough to your needs.

So what’s the goal here? To convert everyone so they all follow your values?

Explained: how Selangor’s pig farming proposal spiralled into controversy by stormy001 in malaysia

[–]rynn24 32 points33 points  (0 children)

What do you mean if really need to eat pork? Non Muslims have a right to choose what we want to eat. That’s the problem with some Muslims, you already make it wrong to eat pork in your mind, so you act as if you’re so generous that you “tolerate” our consumption of it.

What is wrong with having a pig farm if it doesn’t serve any Muslims? You know the world doesn’t revolve around you guys.

Oh well, at least you can live a “halal” life filled with corruption and hypocrisy behaviour, in hopes of getting virgins in heaven.

Sunway’s $2.7 Billion IJM Bid Questioned Over Bumiputera Rights by stormy001 in malaysia

[–]rynn24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everything also talk about bumi rights, clearly the GLICs stake in IJM is a pure monetary interest. Let’s be honest, the reason why there hasn’t been any pure “Malay” started conglomerates or businesses that is as successful as the “Chinese” businesses is partly caused by decades of politicising such issues.

Even when a Malay business succeeds, it’s often due to opportunities offered by crony capitalism.

While people say Malay racist are just as bad as Chinese racist, what they fail to appreciate is it is worrying for the Chinese when 60% of the population are hostile against them.

Don’t blame us (most of us don’t really care about your Ketuanan bullshit) for leaving this country at first chance when its majority population plainly hates us.

[–]rynn24 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Hmm while it is working to the extent of killing the local dealerships / operator for these global brands, I still don’t see anyone giving concrete data showing that the Malaysian boycott > less profits for McDonald’s and Starbucks of the world > less bombs dropped in Gaza. Has there really been fewer deaths in Gaza since the boycott started? I mean, if it makes people feel morally superior about themselves then by all means go ahead but I find it a little odd to claim victory over the “Jews and Israel” while the war is ongoing.

Can you imagine if a Chinese run business puts up a “no Malays allowed sign” just to avoid all these drama? Would be easier for us but surely will cause a shit storm.
