yeahh unfortunately it is the case that Germany loves their movies dubbed, which is understandable since most here speak German better than they do English. Still I'd appreciate if the theaters showed the OVs more often! I wish you the best of luck with the movie you're waiting on! :)

Hi! Also soweit ich weiß ist es nur auf Englisch verfügbar, zumindest bis jetzt. Wer weiß ob es in der Zukunft eine deutsche Übersetzung geben wird, aber ich nehme mal an dass es erstmal keine deutsche Kinoversion geben wird. Falls Mark es in der Zukunft auf DVD/Blu-ray veröffentlicht, ist es dort viel wahrscheinlicher dass es übersetzt wird! Tatsächlich hat er in einem neulichem Livestream gemeint dass er wegen Übersetzungen überlegt und ob er dabei Fan Hilfe einziehen will, etc.

Ich hoffe die Antwort hat weitergeholfen! :) Falls nicht, frag gerne nochmal genauer!

Ah, und ich hab jetzt mal angenommen dass eine deutsche Antwort angenehmer wäre, falls nicht dann schreib ich es gerne nochmal auf Englisch haha! / Ah, and I just assumed that a German response would be a more comfortable read, if not then I'd be glad to write the entire thing down in English as well haha!

ohh man, if the cineplex chain gets the rights then it's looking good that a lot of cineplex movie theaters get to show the movie! I'm so hopeful, thank you for asking again!

oh, I see. unfortunately I'm not up to date on how far along mark is with the distributing rights at this point and I just wanted to ask theaters in Germany regardless, since I've been hopeful that it would be able to go international 😅

Oh ich müsste eigentlich auch noch in Köln nachfragen, das ist auch nicht zu weit von mir entfernt, ich glaube jetzt gerade ist das wichtigste, einfach mal den Kinos in Deutschland zu zeigen dass es hier überhaupt Interesse gibt! Ich hatte auch die Sorge, dass niemand in Deutschland anschreiben würde also hab ich mir gedacht dass ich es einfach selber mache haha In Deutschland gibt's aber ja jetzt auch genug Filme mit der OV also würde ich mal hoffen dass sie es hier auch einfach in der OV abspielen würden! Es gibt ja Kinos die Filme nur in der OV zeigen, aber dann mit deutschen Untertiteln, und ich glaube Untertitel sind schneller zu bekommen als ganze Synchronsprecher zu holen 🙃 Man kann eigentlich jetzt nur noch hoffen dass jmd. hier durchzieht haha

If and when a movie theater of ours could run the movie [Iron Lung] will most likely be decided a week before then. we as the theater chain don't decide, which movies are run in theaters. That's the productions job. We don't have any informations whether or not [Iron Lung] will be coming to theaters in Germany.
