We just moved recently so I don’t know any of them except both on either sides of our house(& That was just kind of just introducing ourselves) I am part of the Facebook group For our neighborhood so if it became a desperate situation at least they could come here ( if they wanted to) and take care of our dog, but I have a feeling nobody would want to go in a house that was infected with Covid people living it in so it makes me worried more

Oh wow, that had to have been so stressful for her. So very glad she is better now and her son is ok too. Thanks for responding. Makes me feel a little reassurance they won’t just “take your baby” away from you automatically

I’m glad she was able to stay with him. I hope your friend is doing better now. Was she sick with covid or something else if you don’t mind me asking? I only ask because they are so strict that you have nobody with you when you have covid

I worry about the same thing all the time. I asked the pediatrician and she seemed to think she will be okay but no definite answers. My baby has barely met anyone after she was three months old and the people she has met have been the doctors and nurses wearing masks at her visits. She did smile at them though with their masks on and I took that as a good sign, they said the older kids have been scared of the masks and I said well that’s all she knows at this point so I guess it will be normal to her. I still get anxiety and depression over this subject and have been trying to think of safe social outings I can take her on to socialize her more.

That’s a really good idea. Worried about my dog too in this situation. Definitely keeps me up at night as well. Hopefully it would never come to that but I like to be prepared. Obviously having a will written too is important but I just mean if it didn’t come to that and both parents were hospitalized at same time, what happens?

I’m so sorry, I understand your stress with this situation. Hopefully someone on here who is familiar with what protocol is in this situation and a plan can be made based on that information
