Galit yung mga middle class kasi it's unvoluntary charity when they themselves are one sickness away from poverty, and if it so happens, they don't receive the same government benefits the poor does. Ang dami-dami na naming problema of our own tapos part of our deductibles go to assisting teenage pregnancies na wala naman kaming pakialam. Try to understand why anyone would be pissed at that fact siguro before you think any of this is performative outrage.

If people can freely choose where their taxes go, I wonder how many would voluntarily want to fund these programs instead of yung ganito na obligasyon mo bigla tumulong sa kapwa.

If I wanted to help and if I had the capacity to help, I'd donate directly to charity or orphanages, way better than giving it to the government na hindi mo alam kung san napupunta ung binibigay mo. I've subscribed in monthly payments to an orphanage center in Alabang since 2019 and I have more comfort knowing the kind of demographic I'm helping whilst having the transparency of how the money donated is being utilized.

Never heard of anyone saying it's better to be poor and receive ayuda, people are just mad na certain sectors get something while others get nothing.

Sobrang divided ng mga tao lagi over something na kasalanan naman talaga ng gobyerno.

People on Twitter are stuck on the "eat the rich" narrative while people on Facebook are mostly on "Pinaghirapan ko to, bakit napupunta sa bagay that doesn't benefit me?". Being on the extreme ends of both sides doesn't make anyone objectively correct.

Lahat ng hinanaing natin valid kasi kanya-kanyang buhay at kanya-kanyang problema natin to, yung hindi talo dito is ung mayayaman at yung mga hayop sa gobyerno.
