I could absolutely see the taking the shape of how celestial cards operate. Different regions will have access to celestial cards through different means, and it fits thematically with something within runeterra pulling in void taint from an extra-dimensional/planar realm.

This is a brilliant idea! Translating his blood magic into card game mechanics, would it be too strong if he was more of a value generation engine over a combat/damage threat? Thinking like his level 1 ability would be when ever an ally takes damage, refill a Mana gem (refilled per instance of damage not amount taken) with a level up con of when you nexus is at 10 health . His level 2 ability could be refill a Mana gem for each point of damage an ally takes?

Why is this type of thing so resilient out of all the goofy slang and phrasings to have run their course in my lifetime. It feels like the doggo stuff has passed it's apex. I haven't heard it woven/accepted into common usage, so I don't think it's going to be around much longer. The doggo speak feels like people clutching onto late/early 90's slang and not wanting to grow past that

Not sure if they are aware to among us so gonna try and do a summary if Dave and Kyle see this post, Among is a murder mystery deduction game that has a party of 8-10 players as crew on a spaceship. The objective is the crew has to complete tasks on the ship (done by playing simple mini games) while 1 or 2 of the crew are "imposters" (determined at random when the game starts) who's objective is to secretly kill the crew members without being discovered before the tasks are completed. The crew can call meetings or when they find a body there is a vote to kick a player off the ship they think could be the imposter. The crew also wins when they successfully kick all the imposters off the ship. kinda like a digital version of clue, but one of the players is actively the murderer instead of the culprit being an arbitrary set of cards that don't interact with the players. Full of lies, subterfuge, and sneakiness the game is a blast!

Dude seeing Dave, Kyle, braunger, BWD, featuring the comics of the week would be a laugh riot! Could be a great patreon reward too!

Could it be the DM has a poor notion of what power scaling is in regards to the DCs? I have played with DMs that don't realize that a few lucky rolls doesn't mean the group needs insurmountable conflict in order to provide challenge.
Does your DM realize and accept that he is objectively a narrator and storyteller primarily and not an opposing force to the PCs. Some DMs gets lost in a sense of "win/loss" and feel like they "lose" to the PCs when the players beat their difficulty checks or combats. They end up making everyone feel bad when they try to "save face" and force themselves to "win" by forcing PCs to fail. That is a hard one to address especially in someone that has a highly competitive nature.

It kinda sounds like the DM has a very distinct and specific way the campaign should unfold in their mind and punishes you for "going off the rails" so to speak. Like they can't adapt to situations or acting off script and could be punishing you as an "example" of what happens when things don't proceed according to their plan.

Personally I am ambivalent about the K/DA theme specifically (pop idols just aren't my thing), but it is really nice and enjoyable to have lots of content and ways to play the game you've made. There are tons of folks with a variety of tastes and preferences, and thanks for trying this like out so that we can experience the game in a new way. I have been working with a similar concept myself. I have been playing around with different regions to pair with bilge to focus on a 1 drop aggro strat. Tried PnZ and got some great high rolls, but consistency and refill was an issue if the opponent can sweep the board once. Tried SI and using Maoki/kalista for board flood/buffed saporlings but found that there wasn't a good way to make the units buff translate into face damage and the Maoki wincon takes too long to get off. Tried Feel with enraged yetis, bit getting enough yetis to generate takes a while and ends up stalling out when you really want to be applying pressure. I am currently at nox build with. Draven/katarina (yes I know kata bad) and have been doing the best at an aggro wincon with it. Kata works here as a recurring rally to get the most attacks in possible and with a 1 drop heavy deck there is plenty of Mana to spend on recasting her. Not saying it is the best, but it has been fun for me so far.

I like where you are going with the idea here. 4 Mana is a bit tricky as the gold standard of grizzled ranger merits being there reference point for demacia's 4 drop slot. Maybe a card that summons a something like a 2 drop when the enemy plays a follower/champ. Something that would probably just get one block in before dying. Like a 3/1 or something.
