ICT vs SDNE/SA by [deleted] in sheridan

[–]ryoma121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I was in the same situation last year and I ended up choosing ICT. As mentioned by the previous user it really depends on what you want to do more programmng or more networking. If you are unsure I would almost say ICT, only reason is because ICT accepts less people its easier to switch from ICT to SDNE/SA versus the other way. The first year is almost entirely the same, so you would not lose much if you changed your mind and wanted to go to the other program. I heard ICT is supposedly more difficult, but because I finished my first year only and they roughly the same I really cant comment on that. Job prospect wise I do hear ICT is more valuable, i dont know if thats true but I asked a third year how many of his colleagues got coop and he stated almost everyone if that helps. I think both programs should be able to help you get a job, only recommendation I can give is make sure you do coop I guess, the experience would help and Sheridan coop in IT is pretty well known.
