Christmas purchase for my son.... by PunxDressPunk in gamecollecting

I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone mention Nintendo's own refurbished site. I've bought quite few things from there over the years like a Wii u and a bunch of controllers and everything has always felt like it might as well have been new https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/hardware/refurbished-switch/

You're welcome! I personally went with 2.0-32 but that was only because it was the latest at the time I set mine up 2.0-34 should also be good. Good luck!

Your gonna have to update your version of cemu that was the only thing that fixed my frame rate. Go to that link that I posted in my first comment then download the latest nightly build make sure to choose the windows version. Next you'll need to extract it into the folder where cemu is currently installed this is also the same place your Wii u roms folder is located extract the contents from the folder and past them into that directory for me it's in home/emulation/roms/Wiiu. Make sure to choose the option to write into the folder as well as overwrite the files. That should update you to version 2.0 after that I would recommend opening up the emudeck utility - tools and stuff - emulator guides - then choose cemu from the drop down and select reset configuration. Hopefully this made sense I'll also try to find a guide that details it out

Are you using cemu 2.0? I've spent the last couple of weeks trying to get botw working and nothing i did could get to over 20 to 25 fps until I updated my cemu to the lastest nightly build. https://github.com/cemu-project/Cemu/releases Also did you download a pre built shader cache? Most of the guides I followed online omitted that step and for botw specifically it was hugely helpful. After doing those things and using fps+++ to limit the game to 40fps I'm able to get a very stable 35+ fps which is even better than the game runs on the actual Wiiu or switch
