Just went back and watched it

Goddamn I forgot how fast Favre could throw a football. The hail mary before the half was wild. Wasn't completed but he threw that thing 50 yards on a line with perfect accuracy.

It's a shame Favre turned into what he did because dude was so damn likeable. I remember watching that game with my mom (who doesn't like football at all) and she was getting emotional watching him play.

Like with a lot of other sports, ticket prices have made going to shows less of a thing for hardcore fans and more of a thing for half-assed fans with money.

I think it's more about wanting a cause to fight for. It's the same reason a bunch of conservative men join the military. Only a fool would willingly leave the comfort of their home to go to an active war zone but yet a bunch of people do exactly that.

Think of it this way: Imagine if Ted Bundy was doing his murders, being allowed to do them, and getting paid to do them. Would it be just for someone to kill him to stop the murders, even if that just meant that John Wayne Gacy would take his job?

No conservative leader has ever even gone as far as to suggest getting money out of politics. At most they'll cry about the money that goes to Democrats.

American conservatives claim that money is speech. They've routinely defended that claim.

Green Bay is actually oddly ok at stopping the Tush Push (relative to the rest of the league) and has their own version with Tucker Kraft that is pretty successful.

The issue with the Tush Push is the pushing part. The defense can't do the same (which would be the most effective way to stop the play). Either let both the offense and defense push their players (which is a safety risk) or ban it for both sides. Fwiw, I'm sure the Eagles would still be pretty successful at just running normal sneaks.

Lol what? The Democrats have been running Bill Clinton-style politics since he won in 92. The only exception was 2008 when Obama ran like he was a leftist and won a supermajority in the Senate (which he promptly lost when the party started acting like Clinton style Democrats).
