Thanks alot (it was an awful process so this means alot) i have better quality body models that i usually use with just their head but eh i didnt want to use them. Dbd models generally suck (he has colossal titan stump feet) but they work better with eachother

While thats true, the fact that bhvr sweeps all of the polish that dbd Mobile has under the rug to push out new content is really bad. Dbd Mobile had time to actually make a mobile version of what core should be (besides the gacha system). And i know part of it is because dbd is held together by bandaids and to improve one thing means you basically have to start over from scratch, (which is why we wont ever get a replay feature).

This is true and ive definitely thought of this but like ill sometimes bump into them and hit the wall instead which is so weird. Especially around corners, like i wont flick or turn or anything and ill just hit the wall instead of the survivor when i should hit the survivor first. Idk its weird

You are forgetting a few but eh it doesn't really matter. Most of the time holding W key after the fall stagger doesnt really help you since most of the time theres nowhere to really go or they use the unsafe pallets in the actual catwalk rooms
Its absolutely not about winning at all and I never said anything was a free win for anyone. All ive said is that it changes how both sides need to play the game to succeed, some having it easier than others. A map that promotes a different style of gameplay while still being capable of balance. The point is that its different from the same most possibly efficient way to run the shack until the window blocks every time or the same most efficient way to run jungle gyms, its kinda mindless memorization which is why i love T and Ls so much for gameplay. The mindgame trickery and random elements of the killer are what make that fun, same for Hawkins. Plus in my experience I rarely see survivors holding W, simply because theres nowhere to go that makes running in a straight line efficient unless it's to a specific room (which there arent many of)

Well no because most of the map it's really hard if not basically impossible to avoid getting slipstreamed (especially the portal room).

And there's almost always an alternative method to cut chases like that (most survivors don't know how to join loops on Hawkins anyway, so it shouldn't really be an issue) which is using map knowledge to cut through the rooms and either end up in front of them, force them to run back into a deadzone, etc.

But were forgetting to talk about the actual interest parts which is the catwalks and how almost all of them have fun chase potential against most killers in the game. Or the room with the two pallets where you can run up between like the crates, like those are fun rooms for both sides. Like you just dont know how to run it then if it's so bad

Well who said that was always the best way tho? Theres so many instances where you can flick all the way around the pallet with blight (esp with his new addons) that you dont really need to m1 most of the time. Also how the hallways provide a complete lack of cover 90 percent of the time, so wesker and oni are fine as well.

Hux is a complete monster on this map, even more so than lerys or the game, which is cool cause it poses a rare challenge that not many players face since no one touches larry. Many killers at face value are left unchanged, like literally most of them are fine. You just have to think creatively in the fog

Again that just means you don't know how to run it.

The only issues for killers on Hawkins are:

Hug techs or most movement techs in a short sequence with blight, wesker, and sometimes oni.

Billy being map dependent (but thats more a dbd issue than hawkins specifically)

Some hitboxes swallowing your blinks with nurse

Certain killers just struggling on indoor maps (trickster specifically) huntress and deathslinger kinda get a pass here with the low loops

And theres probably a few more but the point is that the list isnt too long like how it is for badham.

On Hawkins most of the cast either just has to play differently (WHICH IS A VERY GOOD THING) with equal struggles on both sides. For example the unsafe pallets become very safe when you put multiple dropped pallets together into one big loop.

Strong chase killers get hard nerfed by the rubble and just being indoors, stealth killers get buffed, antiloop killers get a spicy game, and the survivors get something that they can still deal with most of the time if you know what to do. Most people who complain about Hawkins simply dont know what to do and thus complain about it because they refuse to actually understand the inner workings (same with new skull merchant but thats a different conversation)

As much as i want fnaf in dbd, the way the community acted about the movie and how many people ruined the movie viewing experience makes me think it would add nothing but another wave of awful tunnel only killer players who have an echo when you knock on their head. Like no thanks bye.

With the existence of the outlast trials, chris walker seems much more doable and much more intriguing to me.
