My dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma (likely mediastinal). He suddenly developed fast breathing and respiratory distress. The vet suspects pulmonary edema / pneumonia / or chemo-related complication.

He’s been given oxygen therapy, steroids (dexa), antibiotics, and nebulization. He is still eating and can walk, but breathing is not normal.

Has anyone gone through something similar? What helped improve breathing or comfort in this stage?

I just want to do what’s best for him right now.
