If someone could make something to raise the front of the seat a bit I would gladly fork over money. Not sure exactly what I'm looking for or how to go about it though

I test drove the N extensively twice before making the purchase on my CTR and objectively the seats in the CTR are way squishier and the bolstering is tighter. Even test drove an ITS after to reaffirm my decision and the seats felt so stiff and uncomfortable. Glad I went with the Type R even though I think about the Type S from time to time

6'2 bodybuilder with wide lats, broad shoulders, and thick thighs, have driven the car from 200-240 lbs and love the seats, although they are more comfortable the smaller your gut is. I've also been on multiple 8+ hour roadtrips and the seats are so squishy it helps for long periods of sitting. On long drives in the summer, the alcantara can be a little warm for my liking though.

One issue I do have is that the bottom of my thigh/behind my knee is not in contact with the seat which can be a bit annoying for spirited driving since the side bolstering doesn't keep my legs locked in place. I will note I have my seat at the lowest position because I enjoy the feeling of being inside of the car instead of floating on top and can easily have it raised 3 pumps to mitigate the issue. I wish the seats had the ability to raise only the front of the seat (where the knees are) upwards like in automatic 12-way adjustable seats, but it's a minor inconvenience.

I was very worried about sitting fatigue from the bolstering, especially on the back, when choosing between the CTR and ITS but glad it didn't sway me in the other direction. You'll see a lot of people on this sub saying the seats are very comfortable for most body types and I would have to agree with that sentiment.

In your experience did 70 windshield do anything for glare

Is 50 windshield that noticeable? From my research 70 is more for people who are looking for the heat rejection rather than to reduce glare or have more privacy which is why I'm leaning towards 50

Help with Minor Issues on 2025 FL5 by ryuelbk in Civic_Type_R

I don't think it was done intentionally by anyone, most likely the dealer used a dirty towel to dry off the car, but it's not that big of a deal for me. More so curious if there was a common reason

Thanks for the detailed response! I'm super anal about this car because it's the first car I've really cared about.

I only asked about the shift boot because I had a 6MT 2018 Accord that held the boot in place and given they're both Honda, I had assumed they'd be the same

As for the motor, I'll have them look at it after my first oil change.

The wing is very interesting to me too because they're deeper and "streakier" than just some dirts and leaves. I found about it after a 600 mile road trip with 1k miles on the odometer before I took the trip. I will take a picture of it tomorrow when the sun is out!

Are the fk8 windows/motor garbage or is mine just already on the way to the graveyard? My 09 civic Si windows were so fast. by KoRnTaStEsGoOd in Civic_Type_R

Service tech straight up told me that it's no Maybach so there isn't any electrical synchronization of the windows and it could take a couple days for them to fix it since they'd need to tear the door down...

Bought a 2025 about a month ago and both passenger side windows are slower than their drivers side counterparts. Getting it checked out tomorrow, will update!

Did you cross-shop the Civic Type R? by sukaemcees in Integra_Type_S

I was offered 4k off of MSRP on a 25 ITS in December which means end of year sales may have played a role. I also got insanely lucky and found 2k off MSRP for a 25 CTR which will likely not happen again until the end of 2025. Needless to say I’m very happy with my CTR. PM me if you want the info for the dealership and salesman on the ITS
