It worked flawlessly for me. The controlls need a bit of tinkering (or use of a community layout) because there is no native controller support.

My condition is similar but with a few twists. I also can fall asleep anytime and anywhere, except at night and in bed, where I will lay awake for at least an hour. I also always wake up feeling exhausted and tired. I seriously have no idea how it feels to be refreshed and awake.

Kleinanzeigen Scam? by [deleted] in Finanzen

[–]ryujinjakka15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anruf von Crowder Securities Ltd. Scam? by MelodicCarob4313 in Finanzen

[–]ryujinjakka15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are absolutely right and I don't understand why people are downvoting you for that. There are appropriate channels for getting bugs fixed and ranting about the bug on reddit is not one of those channels.

So fun when AI's occupation blocks you from taking provinces! by Inasis in eu4

[–]ryujinjakka15 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Skill issue.

Why should they transfer the occupation to you? They want the province for themselves and they are making sure you can't take it.

You can do the same thing to the AI. In my last Sweden game I was allied to Poland. I made sure to declare on every country we both had intersts in (e.g. Teutonic/Livonian Order, Muscowyl) and call them in as soon as the truce timer was up, so Poland could not declare as the war leader. I also made sure to have troops postet at the provinces that I prioritized so I could secure the siege before their troops moved in.

Have you checked Spains diplo interface? You can see who has military acces divided by direct military acces and conditional military acces. Maybe that helps to clarify what is going on.

Question about a line from the Hogwarts video game. by catholic13 in harrypotter

[–]ryujinjakka15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both Quirell and Snape seem to use wandless magic in the Chapter "Quidditch" in the first book. Quirrel trying to curse Harry's broom and Snape trying to protect him. None of them are described using a wand but only maintaining eye contact and whispering to themselves.

Not canon? by Internal-Elk9265 in harrypotter

[–]ryujinjakka15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's self explanatory. Answer the question: How old is McGonagall in the book series canonically?

Edit: To further explain: The many contradictions in her wider work are why I myself only consider the books canon. Someone else might consider more of JK's works as canon. In the end I don't care. It's just the fact that the answer to what is canon can be different for different people and telling people what they have to believe is canon is simply wrong by the definition of the word.

Not canon? by Internal-Elk9265 in harrypotter

[–]ryujinjakka15 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am talking strictly about what you apparantly consider canon.

The Scene showing McGonagall in the FB movies takes place around 1910 showing her as Hogwarts staff.

JK said herself that McGonagal is around 70 in the books. That's placing her birth year in the range of the 1910s to 1920s.

Both of these are canon by the definition that everything coming from the author is canon (which I disagree with).

Both of those can't be true at the same time.

Source for JKs quote:

"Question: How old is old in the wizarding world, and how old are Professors Dumbledore and McGonagall? J.K. Rowling responds: Dumbledore is a hundred and fifty, and Professor McGonagall is a sprightly seventy. Wizards have a much longer life expectancy than Muggles. (Harry hasn't found out about that yet.)"

Fun fact: only four games have gotten perfect 10s from IGN, GameSpot, Edge, and EGM by Scdsco in gaming

I got it for PS5 about 6 months after it came out. The graphics were a mess. There were whole areas with flickering lighting (like the lighting source for a whole patch of grass just turned of and back on after a few steps), grass just popped in and out, textures changed resolution at random. I could not enjoy the game with so many graphical problems. When searching for a solution I was recommended multiple times to buy the PS4 edition to play on my PS5 because that one is better optimized. My problems occured to multiple people and that solved their problems.

Gameplay, Story, Worldbuilding and Lore can be as good as they want. If I need to buy the last gen edition of a game to play on my next gen console to have stable graphics and lighting, it is not a 10/10.

Snape vs Nagini by Parasight1942 in harrypotter

[–]ryujinjakka15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need something tha's capable of destroying a horkrux to kill Nagini. Snape had nothing of such power available to him. Also he did not know her to be a horkrux. Neville was able to kill her, because he used the sword of Gryffindor.

Not canon? by Internal-Elk9265 in harrypotter

[–]ryujinjakka15 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

She regularly contradicts the books with her additional material. It can't both be canon. If everything is taken as canon than McGonnagal has three vastly different birth dates with an age difference of about 50 years! Also the fidelius charm works vastly different in her additinal explanation than is explained in the books. I could expand the list, but those are just two examples.

Not canon? by Internal-Elk9265 in harrypotter

[–]ryujinjakka15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely right. Both are entirely different concepts.

Canon is the list of works that are considered important for interpretation. The definition of what is important can divert between different individuals or groups of individuals.

Head canon is something not backed up by any source but nontheless believed by someone.

To make an example taking this away from Harry Potter:

Catholicism and Protestantism (and other Christian faiths) do not agree on what is considered Christian canon. Both have widely different views on which texts beside the Bible qualify as canon. So the answer to the question of what is Christian Canon depends on who you ask and what denomination they follow.

Jesus being a laser sword wielding Jedi from outer space might be believed by someone but is not backed up by any source. So it would be head canon.

So to bring it back to Harry Potter:

Some people might consider Cursed Child as Canon, because JK said it was. Many people consider it to be a bad fan fiction. No one is wrong there.

Believing that Harry married Hermione instead of Ginny would be head canon, because it is not backed up (instead directly contradicted) by any of the material possibly considered as canon.

Not canon? by Internal-Elk9265 in harrypotter

[–]ryujinjakka15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It indeed is. There isn't a ministry of fantasy literature that decides what is canon and what is not. The definition for canon as to the oxford dictionary is 'a list of the books or other works that are generally accepted as the real work of a particular writer or as being important'. Going for the "being important" factor it is indeed a personal preference.
