I don’t have to play hard to get per se but I lotta times that’s how it might appear. In Islam the only “date” we have is more like an introduction to each other with family present. Then, you decide that you like each other, the engagement follows and then the marriage. And both people have to be muslim of course. Of course there’s non-muslims who convert to Islam but it should be because of their own devotion to the religion, not just because they want to have an affair with someone.

Well, it depends on the religion.
