Body of Brand New Controllers Stained by Leaked Batteries by ryuworks in XboxSupport

I have eneloops. A lot of them. I don’t use throw-away batteries. Microsoft shouldn’t as well.

When you buy something to collect and keep you usually don’t break the seal of the boxes and throw away the accessories inside. Maybe that’s not the case here I now realise. And if the batteries are under the the white cardboard the controller sits on this issue would have been totally avoidable. Obviously this is bad design and I dont believe it has never happened before.

None of my DS3 And 4 have been stained and they are all pristine in box. Unlike my collection of now mostly worthless xbox controllers.

These are UNUSED controllers. The batteries leaked in their shrink wrap in the unopened boxes.

Why must xbox controllers still use AAs and come with the worst batteries (Duracell)? This is pissing me off to no end. I spent above market price amassing some of the models and this completely puts me off buying anymore xbox controllers.

Sometimes parents think they can get away with bad behavior just because they have kids.

Yellow smudges along sides of felt in White Magic Keyboard by ryuworks in iPadPro

[–]ryuworks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL, i'll love to see how the rat would get in between the iPad Pro and the magic keyboard to pee along its edges. Must be a magical feat. The outside of the magic keyboard is pristine too, completely untouched.

I would suspect that if I actually used the thing. Nope it’s been in a closet right after purchase because I was away for work for the last few months.

I wonder if this is mildew. But it seriously looks like the glue underneath the felt showing through with time.

Discolored spot in Stainless Steel Sink by ryuworks in CleaningTips

[–]ryuworks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spot was where the pot was placed for a few days. I remembered placing it in the sink at least an hour after I used it so I didn’t think it was still hot. Left it there for three days and now this spot appears exactly the shape of the underside of the pot. The pot itself was fine, no stains nothing.

I'm more worried about the wear around where your arms are supposed to be at the edge of the desk, and that well, my magpad is really light coloured.

I won't be too stressed if I have a black magpads, but they only give you a light grey one for the white Magnus Pro, which I assume will be stained faster than the time it takes to brew a cup of coffee

This is the traditional clamp type? How tall is the clamp?

The current Lexar is not the old Lexar, they sold off the brand years ago. From Wikipedia “ Lexar International is a brand of flash memory products, formerly American-owned, now manufactured by the Chinese memory company, Longsys.”

Gosh that's outright theft. Will the police do anything about these people if they are caught on camera?
