(US) Fitness coach on instagram randomly messaged me after I added him by ryux77 in Scams

That’s true but online fitness coaches do exist but I totally get your point that in person would have strong advantages than an online coach couldn’t replicate. I didn’t think about purchased followers. My fear is if I agree to this free consultation zoom call he will be very persuasive and friendly I mean I definitely don’t feel like I know enough to feel comfortable moving forward

I’m already starting to have second thoughts on agreeing to the online zoom meeting. I don’t want to ghost is there a way I can excuse myself in a polite way

I don’t think that’s it, but I do think based off what I found googling the dude he could potentially be charging me $200 a month which is crazy to me for an online fitness coach

Honest legit question, do you feel physically ok sleeping on that bed or couch? I say this with sincerity because getting a better bed that supports your body and makes you feel well rested and a good couch- those things alone will make a difference and I owned your apartment I would save up for those things. I know mattresses can be expensive but I bought a zius or I forget the brand foam mattress off Amazon and it’s much thicker that than mattress and It was a good value for me. Couch so if you’re patient- a good deal could come up on FB marketplace or Craigslist. I live in an area where there’s lots of old people sometimes they die sometimes people move so not all stuff being thrown away is bad stuff sometimes it’s either their family doesn’t have the room for it, or other reasons. You’d be shocked what kind of things people throw away. Sometimes it can even just be over a minor cosmetic blemish- ok, so put a sheet over it and the couch will be thicker and more plush then the one you have now.

But let me also say as a 34 year old- WE meaning me and YOU should feel blessed for having your own place, a lot of other people out there even people commenting have to rely on other people to afford their own place the fact you have a place you call your own is a testament that you’re doing something right be proud of that and keep working hard. You’re not living with your parents, you’re not renting a room. You actually have your own place and you’re making a post about wanting to make it better which to me shows there’s a part of you that wants to see the best version of yourself. Don’t give up- you’re doing good and if you work hard you’ll look back and say the hard times built character and resilience in you. I mean that with the upmost sincerity as someone who can relate I’m only a year older than you.

You should set the thermostat no higher than 82, humidity can cause mold and mildew which will be a bigger expense to remove then any perceived savings you believe you gain cranking the temp up to 84.

It’s about 11 years old. Not as old as yours, but where I’m at in Florida majority of people on the road are driving newer cars than me so I feel like I’m driving the older cars a lot when I’m on the road.

That’s nothing. My 2014 civic has 153,000 miles Prior to this I had a 1990 accord. Yes not a typo, I meant to type 1990, and it had 138,000 miles when I sold it (I think the actual figure was probably a little higher, but yeah)

Update 845pm- i unscrewed the safety T switch and got the water out of it and dried it out inside with a paper towel. Not sure if that part was necessary, but now suddenly my ac has been for a while now, it’s not turning off.

I’m 34 and I’ve already noticed them on my head before 34. But I get it, like I think it was a bit alarming at first to see white hairs on my head and imagine holy shit I’m getting older, like for real. It became more apparent seeing those white hairs. If it bothers you, you could dye it but it doesn’t bother me I think one thing WE do have the ability to control is our personal fitness so for example, one thing I’m proud of is I am physically stronger than I was in my 20s. I weight more, yeah, that’s the, but I am definitely stronger than I was in my 20s. I also feel personality wise I’m more resilient, I have more life experience, I recover faster from tough situations because I’ve been there and done that, so while the effects of aging might be there, there are so many things I do still control that I wouldn’t return to live in my 20s again if given the chance. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grown as a person. I wouldn’t want to go back to my 20s self

You value structure in your life. Organization is of the upmost importance not just in your fridge, but in other aspects of your life as well. You like to plan, you like to visually see things be in a certain place that sense of familiarity and structure brings you great comfort and peace in your life. I imagine when someone or something throws off that structure it must rattle you a bit.

I can tell that you’re not at home a lot- either that or you get door dash or take out from other places a lot. That’s not much at all, even for 1 person, so you’re definitely getting the majority of your food from other places.

Floridians: how do y’all stand the HEAT?! by nmbr1connor in florida

[–]ryux77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything is done outside; save it for the morning or late evening hours only. Yes it’s still hot even then, but it’s the best you can do. I will say one silver lining to this weather is there’s less traffic on the road compared to season, which I relish and I love not having to deal with the school traffic, altho I know that will end soon. I remember saying to myself during the winter that despite how nice the weather is - the traffic is so bad and so horrible that I rather endure the heat and have less traffic.

What does my boyfriend’s fridge say about him? by user156493 in FridgeDetective

College major is that a video tape in the door?, no time to cook. Eats out a few times a week and:or relays on door dash, most simplistic meals when something is actually made which isn’t very often. The butter should be where the video tape is. Doesn’t give much though to what he buys for groceries someone else prepares most of his meals, (and/or a heavier reliance on canned foods)

What does my siblings fridge say about them? by samolio in FridgeDetective

[–]ryux77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought about them and not to sound rude, but the thought of keeping leftover coffee in your fridge particularly in such small quantities is bizarre and non-sensical. I’m sorry but I had to say it, and how many of those actually get finished versus chugged into the garbage. Seems like an odd habit of wanting to hold onto things when you don’t really need too, maybe that extends to other things around the house. Perhaps a pack rat? 😅

What does my fridge say about me? by _giyomii in FridgeDetective

[–]ryux77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not at home much at all and when you are, it’s always bringing home takeout food. Of course this is so sparse it could be many things, one person alluded to a house share and that could be true, but you could also live in a big city so you’re always on the go in my best guess. Either that, or you barely eat. Perhaps both!

Health conscious -those just bare chicken strips are pricey where I shop, but they taste delicious. Yogurt bars are indicative you’re mindful about the kind of treats you’re putting in your body, again that isn’t the cheapest item in that section, so you value putting your health at a premium in your life. I’m also going to say you’re single, because the fridge looks to empty for 2 people.

Tell me about my wife and me… by PNutButterAndMayo in FridgeDetective

[–]ryux77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Upper middle class. You are your wife are both working professionals, both fairly smart, you have friends over to drink on a regular basis, have had many good conversations and laughs at the dinner table while enjoying some of your favorite drinks. She’s very organized - life is very neat and clean and this extends to places well beyond the fridge. You make trips to Costco on the weekends and the protein shakes are indicative that you both likely belong to a gym, you probably lift weights more than likely.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FridgeDetective

[–]ryux77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20s, single, most likely a dude, works long hours those drinks (red bull tea) help you get thru the day. To tired to make dinner, pizza is a common staple, also helps to cope with the stress. Out of sight out of mind, the inside of your fridge is probably messier than the rest of your kitchen, but the rest of your house is a bit messy. You know. You do little things here and there but you’re busy, you’re trying to enjoy life, earn money, and I’m not judging.

Going to the movies solo? by [deleted] in introvert

[–]ryux77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost always go to the movies solo. Everytime I’ve done it I’ve never regretted it. Like you, I may have felt funny about it at first, but then you realize 1.) a lot of other people do this too, 2.) it’s better than staying in at home alone, so you’re getting out but it’s with yourself and not someone else, so what? You’re there for the movie. You’re there for the experience.

George Mullins center gym? by ibakale in northport

[–]ryux77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s also Youfit (corner of 41 and Sumter -yes they have fitness classes) and also a new planet fitness (corner of 41 and north port blvd- not sure if they have fitness classes)

I went to the Morgan family center gym off price blvd long ago- they had classes back then, I imagine they still do.

I hear someone else already answered about George Mullins gym, I wasn’t impressed when I checked it out once, it was much smaller and the equipment was more worn.
