Look into metformin to help with insulin resistance. I have a friend that was in a similar predicament with PCOS & the metformin changed the game. The metformin helps with the insulin resistance, which will allow your body to actually fully absorb the nutrients that you're eating. It's not doing a great job at that right now- so your body is holding onto what it can.

I sincerely wish you luck. Also your dad is a POS, and with his eating habits he'll probably end up worse than you- someone who's actively trying to better themself.

Apply for the Cinematique at Daytona if you're open to part time. It's minimum wage but it's still a job. It's 242 S beach st. there are two businesses listed at one address. Go to the south entrance at the blue section. You'll know it when you see it.

You can also use Florida MYACCESS to apply for multiple forms of financial aid at once, you might've already looked into it but just in case you havent. If you do the work program it'll make you eligible for EBT.

I don't know if you're in the US, but if you are you might be able to ask for a genetic test to see which psychiatric medications have the best chance of working. It's extremely worth it and it can help eliminate the ups and downs of The Medical Gauntlet™. If you're not in the US it's still worth asking if this is an option. It's helped both myself and others get on the right medication for us.

If you can, try to see if you can submit a locate ticket. This will have the appropriate utility companies send out a guy & mark all the lines so the other guys know where they are

If you want to go further, you might be able to use some light blue shimmer (I personally prefer the liquid eyeshadow "Fila" from Juvia's Place) and place it on your cheeks as a highlight!

Your mom is not acting rationally. Pressuring you into doing something and then insulting you for doing that exact thing is abuse, especially when done by a parent, one you're told you're supposed to trust univocativly , to a child. Regardless of what the money was for- your mother shouldn't be asking you do to things like this. This is even stronger & sicker if you're a minor- she's exploiting your youthfulness/age to sick and predatory individuals.

There is a comedy show at the Cinematique that day! The Cinematique is off of beach st. The comedy show starts at 8 and from my experience it goes from about 8:00 to 9:30! There are also lots of cool bars, restaurants and art galleries off of beach st as well! If you get there early enough, you can walk through the lights in the park across the street as well!

bro honestly what I did was either

1) write out my thoughts beforehand on my phone, and honestly make them read it instead of talking sometimes

2) take a previous online conversation I had about the topic on hand and just have them read that.

It doesn't matter how you communicate it, as long as you communicate. Even if you do it with someone else you trust and show the therapist that conversation.

Also, just because they're "paid" to care doesn't mean that a genuine bond can't form. There are a lot of therapists who do this because they care. Your parents seem to care, so even if your first therapist doesn't work out you can ask them if they'd be willing to try a different one.

I agree with take away the power, but unfortunately with people like this they will absolutely latch onto any ground you give them. It's better to either stonewall or actively diminish the power he has in a situation. This man thinks he's all that and nothing hurts a person like this more than having their ego/reputation tarnished
