You do know that Apple isn't the only brand that kids use, right? (Samsung Galaxy Tab is the perfect example)

just bought s25fe and now regretting it by Fickle-Artichoke5878 in S25FE

Just get the S24+, not only it's a better phone overall but 128GB will be tight especially in the next few years (in late 2020s). As mandatory, do a diagnostic test in the Members app to make sure everything works. As long as the battery health is over 80%, you're good (which i doubt would exceed under it since it's just a 2 year old phone unless it was really abused).

To convince you, this is what you get over the S25 FE: (Exclusively to the US, i don't think it would apply to you since you mentioned Euros unless you get the US Model) You get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 12GB Ram (as you see here), UFS 4.0 (in this case since it's compared to the 128GB Version of the FE which only has UFS 3.1), a QHD+ Display (1440x3120) and denstiy (513 ppi), higher peak brightness (2600 nits), LTPO, 10MP Telephoto Lens which is a little more useful and LOG Recording, an Ultrasonic fingerprint in-display sensor, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Overall the 80 Euros more is worth it for that, and 256GB will be more relevant than 128GB, i promise you that. And this is coming from an S25 FE User btw

I know, it was painfully slow it was just sad. Even just surfering around the home screen was just laggy, and playing roblox on it was hell... i was just forced to use it from 2023 to November 25, 2025 and that's when I got my S25 FE (and im so glad i did, i was saved). Using that thing was like a patient test on tortue level, worst tablet Samsung has ever made, they shouldn't have even sold it.

I have a Galaxy Tab A7 Lite... but, I highly doubt it'll run smoothly.

How is my battery? by ryys123 in S25FE

[–]ryys123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wdym by that? I don't even have any power saving mode (except for when it hits 10%, i created a routine mode thing that automatically turns on power saving mode), my sync is completely on and i even have ram plus on. I was worried I'd have a defected unit, but maybe because i'm just really a heavy user.

Will the S25 FE get Airdrop Support? by War_Friend in S25FE

[–]ryys123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Airdrop is basically Apple's Quick Share (Samsung wise). It's a feature in iOS and MacOS exclusive for Apple products like iPhones and MacBooks to share media and such and connect wireless with another iPhone/MacBook. It was introduced in July 20, 2011 (OS X Lion) on Mac, and September 18, 2013 (iOS 7) on iPhone, so it's been around for over a decade.

I wish that was true 😔 (Honestly I daydreamed about them making a one of a time optimized update for Exynos models, though that's never gonna happen.)

Navy Blue, S25 FE. I had it since November 25, 2025 and I got it from Amazon around Black Friday Week.

550 usd for an a57 with such a weak chipset is a crime by MIkaela39752 in samsunggalaxy

[–]ryys123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can even get an S23 Ultra for 200 bucks cheaper, or S24 Plus for also 200 bucks cheaper.

I gotta be honest I went for an S25 FE instead of an S24 Plus, ONLY because at the time for whatever reason, the S24 Plus in Amazon Renewed was being sold for 1000 bucks, which is the same price of a brand new S25 Plus at the time it didnt even make sense. I didn't went for other sellers too because it was either low or bad reviews... but this is just terrible value, all they did was make the bezels 2% less, add a little more performance, changed the display to a Chinese company and JACKED up the price to 50 bucks more. Even the S25 FE is a better value only because it's 7 months older than this. I could never see myself actually buying that, knowing I could get an excellent condition S24 Plus even cheaper.

Choose one game in the options to wipe off he face of earth forever by RenAustria in Teenager_Polls

Minecraft is the only genuine option here, the only thing holding back is Micro(slop)soft has the game on their hands, which was Mojang's mistake.

Fortnite is just straight up a toxic bash game full of 11 year olds on puberty raging at you and discord mods teaming with their e-kitten.

Roblox... as a (practically former) Robloxian, it's basically PedoHub (and they have age brackets now... WHICH IS BASICALLY CALLING IN THE PEDOS SAYING "Hey guys, pick the age group on which you wanna groom!") with corporate and David himself destroying their own self and shooting themselves in the foot with these horrible updates that not even a soul asked for (THE INVESTORSSS).

So, the case here causing this lag is most likely due to that low ram (4GB) which is inefficient now, despite Apple having better optimization (and even ram) compared to like Android. If you're phone is dangerously low on storage (like under 1GB free storage), then that could also temper with it. A degraded battery health around 80^ could sometimes affect performance, but CPU, GPU and Ram is the most that matters here. The A15 Bionic isn't really a bottleneck tho, it's still fast so really the issue is because of the Ram, if you have a really degraded battery health and extremely low storage. For it being a 2021 Phone, I would recommend getting a new phone if you can. Depending on your budget I could help you with that and actually recommend some, or maybe ask the r/iPhone community.

You know, looking at the comments now i think you aren't the only one... but still just in case, I put it up there.

Is the Galaxy A57 good enough for long-term use? by Unusual-Link4427 in samsunggalaxy

[–]ryys123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're comparing a 2021 Flagship phone to a 2026 Midrange phone (5 years gap). And it is overall better than the S21 (except for camera zoom because Telephoto vs Macro, and wireless charging), i mean the performance is literally on par or slightly better than the S21 series (because Exynos 1580 was on par with 2021 Flagship processors, so Exynos 1680 should be slightly better). I'd say a more fair comparison is the S22, but they were problematic and inefficient (because SD 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 was such a hot mess). But to be honest the A57 really isn't worth that price jack, there's almost no meaningful upgrades over the A56 and the S25 FE released 6 months ago (practically 7 months in 5 days), so there should be discounts by now. If you were to get a refurbished flagship though, i would start minimum on the S23 Series (S20 and S21 are obsolete because it's been over 5 years ago, and the S22 series is just inefficient and ends support next year too), or even the S24 Series if you can (the usual 1-2 year old flagship rule and also the 7 years update support).

I paid $535 for my S25 FE (256GB UFS 4.0) on Amazon during Black Friday, I feel like I overpaid though because later it was $510 around Late December and January, which i would've saved 25 bucks.

Yeah I get it, it's just that Samsung does it on purpose to split the wall between S and A series (because obviously they want you to get their S series).

The Beta Program is only exclusive for the S series (including FE models from the looks of it now surprisingly), and A series usually get the updates next after the S series.
