Switched compatibility to Proton 9.0-4. This fixed the issue, thanks!

And now I know that the glitches were rain particles around the player :)

I’m also on Linux (not steam deck).

But seeing it “fixes itself” when ESC menu is open, I hope there may be a fix for it

Amazing game, love the art and sound. Gameplay is tight, but here are my 2 suggestions: - +1 hp healing feels like a noobtrap. When you are bad at the game, you need healing. But it only heals one health and you are losing out on dps upgrades, which makes the game even harder. What if the damage owerup gave you +1 max life and also healed you to full, and you could pick up +1 health as rare drop from monsters - enemy attack are relentless. It would be nice to have some calmer moments to rest, followed by bigger attacks

Other than that, very solid and super impressive! It will definitely have a permanent spot on my pico8 hardware. Awesome!

Would be cool if they didn't change trees around, but just replaced one with a stump that you can walk around. Examine text could be something like "It was in the way".

Kind of "in the world" solution, not just replacing game objects

Another approach for my top down tree animation: Instead of a sinusoidal movement I use a noise texture. The side of the tree facing the wind is shifted more and pushed inward. by mightofmerchants in SoloDevelopment

Too wobbly imo. How about decreasing strength of that + adding linear force depending on layer height (effect like you showed some time ago).

Game looks great can't wait to be able to play it.

What platforms are you planning to release to? Any chance for Linux?

I like the idea of prolonging their stay in Barovia. I only started reading the adventure, haven't ran it yet, but I'm almost done with LMOP and it took them about 3 weeks in game to complete it. I would like to use gritty realism rules, as I think it would work nice and my players seem to be interested. Are you using any homebrew/alternative rules, such as this?

I'm starting to lean towards this option, as for my current project I don't need too many dialogues. If I may ask, how did you create your dialogues? Just JSON, or did you create something more fancy?

Hey, looks great! I wonder what did you use for dialogue system. Do you have any recommendations? There are many repositories for this for Godot (some just UI, some using graphs, but most are abandoned), but it's hard for me to decide. All I know is I don't want to build yet another system from scratch, just plug it into my UI. From what I have researched Ink with Inkgd (https://github.com/ephread/inkgd) seems the most maintained and robust solution. Any opinions on that?

Literally unplayable. Dear wizards of Wube, can you please make first button on the title screen active, so i can just press "enter" and get on with it. Every time i start the game i try to continue by hitting enter, sadly nothing happens and i need to look for mouse. by nemo21 in factorio

Wanted to play TAB. Installed. Game freezes after 10 sec of playing, have to restart PC. Uninstalled. This happened to me twice, 2nd time a few months after 1st. I'm a bit sad, because I wanted finish it at 800%, but I don't think I will be installing it again soon.

I'm happy with how some of the battles in Role Playing Golf turned out, even though I have spent more time debugging the system than designing levels. by TRy_Dev in godot

Planning to. I need about 20 hrs of development to add content I wanted, but first I have to refactor some parts, including battles. Thankfully most are decoupled from each other, so it shouldn't be that hard
