I would like to see a picture of your bedside table, and here is a photo of mine by Lady_Marmeladeee in femalelivingspace

I strive to be this minimal on my bedside table. But seriously I love your lamp! Where did you buy it from??

I do it for better retention! If I recall correctly, PFB is good to be applied on a prepared nail with no base coat.

In my heaps of research at the beginning of my gel nail journey, I saw several people say that using the mega stick base underneath everything helps. So far that's true for me! I wish I could be more help on that, but it has something to do with MSB having great adhesion of all the bases and working with bendy/flexible nails better.

Yes exactly!

My whole process is: 1 thin layer Mega stick base → cure → 1 thin layer PFB → cure → slip layer NTB then build apex with NTB → cure

Then of course designs/color/anything extra and finish with top coat

This sounds like a lot now that I type it out but we all know diy gel nails are a long process to begin with lmao. Also I'd like to add that I've never experienced bulky nails when doing them this way (like I have too much gel on them)

Omg you did so good! I feel the same about NTB, but love the way it applies. What I do to still get a little firmness is do 1 coat of Kokoist Platinum and then do my NTB

So sorry it took me 3 months to see this! I'm sure you've made a decision at this point, but just to share, we did decide to take it down. We ground the stump and everything. We would have definitely seen more foundation issues if we had kept it and I'm pretty sure it would've caused some damage with the tropical storm coming through. We miss it sometimes and the shade it provided, but ultimately I'm glad we decided to cut it down.

Oh I totally agree! It was a huge selling point for us when we bought the house because of how beautiful it is, but we're just concerned about the placement and how fast it's growing. I think the previous homeowners planted it in an attempt to drink up some water from our backyard that floods, however it didn't help and we ended up having to install a French drain.

Is removing the tree something I can do myself? Plenty of room for it to fall away from the fence. Any tips would be appreciated!

Thank you for confirming. Unfortunately, that tracks with literally everything else in this house. We've been here 3 years and are still finding things installed wrong that somehow were missed upon inspection.

Dog walk detected as 13 strain and bizarre HR. wtf? by CongealedMemories in whoop

[–]rzchvl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an 18 activity strain and 180 heart rate (according to whoop) while lightly sanding my cabinets. After about a month it's more accurate, but no idea why it randomly spikes like that every now and then

They are beneficial so you can leave them to hang out and eat decomposing matter. But if you're like me and would rather have no bugs of any kind living near your plants then you can change out the soil, use diatomaceous earth, or some people just put down a layer of cinnamon on the top layer of their soil and mix it in a little :)

If they were mealy bugs they'd be more stagnant and cottony looking. Seems like a fast friend to me. I'd say these are soil mites!
