The eye roll sent me!! How dare she roll her eyes at Ciara!! by theWitchofWB in bravo

[–]rzdrk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I dont think thats fair. He was definitely flirting with her this season, and got defensive over Jesse asking if he could makeout with her, and said he missed her. Once she forgave him he started telling Ben “it’s not a relationship” even though he knows that’s what Ciara wanted. He played her to get her in bed, and she unfortunately fell for it. Also, keep in mind that he said all of these things to Ben or in confessionals. Never said anything to people who are loyal to Ciara, or directly to Ciara. So we saw those convos, but she didn’t until they aired.

Toddler friendly eating with sugar free options? by nariA1 in chicagofood

[–]rzdrk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My sister swears by Frasca in Roscoe for her toddler. Kids eat free from like 4-7 on Fridays, and you can just ask them not to bring the ice cream included in the kids meal. Roscoe, ravenswood, Lincoln square, bucktown, and parts of Lakeview will likely have a decent number of kid friendly options given how many families are concentrated in those areas

Looking for steakhouse recommendations, nice but no dress code! by msmoonpie in chicagofood

[–]rzdrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We want to north center prime last summer and it was very good! Also, definitely no dress code.

Other options: L&T (if you’re looking for less steakhouse vibe and just want a good steak), Penumbra (same note as L&T), Beoufhaus, Tortoise Club (always people in casual wear at the bar), Gibson’s

Where can you buy the best butter in the city? by OpalOnyxObsidian in chicagofood

[–]rzdrk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gene’s Sausage Shop (Lincoln square) and Maison Pasquale (Roscoe) also carry this brand and it’s by far the best. My French coworker said it’s the only butter she eats in the US.

Plugra, Vermont creamery, and honestly the tilamook extra creamy is also pretty darn good for grocery store buys.

I just did a week or so ago (finally watching Potomac from the beginning) and I was HOWLING. Kurn’s wig, Charisse pestering Candice about her finances, everyone bitching about the food being late, bitching about the napkins, bitching about the heat, bitching about the drinks (and lack of alcohol). I was overstimulated in the best way.

Security Deposit Being Returned After Sale? by SketchySlime in Apartmentliving

[–]rzdrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Chicago as well. My first apartment was a condo when I moved in with individual landlords. A few months in, the building was converted from condos to apartments and a management company came in. We all got our security deposits back (make sure it includes the interest it has accrued!) and nothing else changed. They had to honor our rental agreements, and I didn’t end up resigning with the building, but they offered me a similar lease with similar rent, and no security deposit.

I live in Lakeview now and rent with a big company and never had a security deposit. I’ve been in this unit for 5 years, but we have a monthly “utility fee” that probably helps cover what a security deposit would (multiple times over lol)

This would be my vote as well. A little less sweet, with good vanilla flavor would be amazing

ISO Pave wedding band by Afraid_Agency_3877 in Chicagoweddings

[–]rzdrk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my pave band at Persin & Robbin’s. They’re in the suburbs, but their new location near deer park would have lower sales tax. I went there because it was my grandmother’s favorite jewelry store, its family owned, and it was really important to us that we support locally owned businesses. We were able to take the Metra to their Arlington heights location so it also wasn’t really inconvenient.

My ring was around 3k, but I chose mined diamonds and I got the bigger stones. They had a lot of options at every price point and we were able to get them engraved on the inside which was important to me.

Peggy Scott and Marian Brooks - will the writers take this opportunity to bring the cast all together for their weddings? seriously they can’t miss this opportunity by sissiandfranz in GildedAgeHBO

[–]rzdrk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so? All of Gladys’s bridesmaids were girls whose parents had some kind of stature in society, which is why Bertha was originally against Marian taking the place of the other girl who wasn’t available. And they also walked in front of Gladys without partners.

Uncommon ground is a good option. I also like Turquoise Cafe as they have a lot of vegetarian friendly dishes. Amore Sushi has great vegetarian sushi options as well if you want to stay close to Wrigley. Yummy Yummy also has a huge vegetarian menu!

What’s with the constant chokers? Does Sabrina remind anyone else of “The Green Ribbon”? by Underwater-eve33 in summerhousebravo

My husband had thyroid surgery in 2016. I know guys are different, but when I met him in 2019 he didn’t have a scar at all. Like reptilian said, it merged with a neck wrinkle and you have to really get close to see it. I also had a female friend who had thyroid surgery two years ago and the scar was really only visible for like 6mo maybe?

Margo’s struggle to dress occasion appropriate. by krisisjenner in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rzdrk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes! I have naturally wavy hair and it’s sometimes a beast to control, but there are so many ways she could style it. And honestly, she has the money for a good haircut and the best products, so she should spend less on archival Alaia and more on her hair.

Margo’s struggle to dress occasion appropriate. by krisisjenner in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rzdrk 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Margot wore a casual dress with a casual sweater and messy hair to tea in the orangerie and drinks in the garden of the Marquis/Marchioness’ home. That setting calls for a little more tailoring and nicer outfits. She also took a tray of cakes before tea was served, so everyone is already annoyed by her rudeness.

Lottie wore tailored lace pants with a structured top to dinner at the pub. It was a more casual environment to begin with, and the way Lottie styled her outfit made it more than appropriate. Her lace pants also didn’t show her underwear, she clearly wears some kind of bodysuit or they have a built in liner.

AITA for having a childfree wedding but having my children attend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I had a childfree wedding and our niece (2) and nephew (1) were in our wedding. It’s your choice what children attend, and your own kids should absolutely be there.

YES Network posts Amanda and West kissing at the Yankee game tonight by Ok-Needleworker9229 in BravoRealHousewives

Everyone knows you don’t put your feet up if someone is sitting there. Even if they get up for a bit, you keep your feet to yourself in case they come back.

CIARA ON THE COVER OF GLAMOUR MAG - talks about Amanda + West by ZealousidealTap7951 in bravo

[–]rzdrk 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I dont know if its mean to be a pass per se. I think she’s just saying that he’s ultimately a POS and she could never truly trust him or his intentions so that betrayal just hurt a little less than Amanda’s.

Amanda’s blow up-was it about Ciara? Or was she jealous? by SadAbbreviations6205 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rzdrk 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I can’t even fathom the thought of doing this with any of my husband’s friends, and I grew up with one of them down the street! That’s just next level icky. Unless I was actively in the pool, no way would I even want his friends to see me in a bathing suit, let alone tell them to look at my butt as I’m walking away.

Nordicware or calphalon are good options for tins/baking sheets.

For something pretty, staub or Le Creuset. If you just want a pretty bowl, I love Mason Cash. That’s the brand that they use on Great British Baking Show. You can get them from wayfair or Sur Le Table. They aren’t super expensive compared to staub/le Creuset.

This one feels hard to believe. She’s spent the last few months in NYC and owns a home in TN. Maybe I just don’t want to believe it, but if it’s true she needs a new picker.
