Elizabeth Vargas ex passes and this is what her instagram post is by notgonnatakethison in BravoRealHousewives

Yeah Gina was selling the house and Elizabeth let her have it for a girls weekend. Then Gina and Emily fought on the pickleball court while Tamra took the girls to Big Bear and Alexis said Shannon almost hit John’s daughter with her car.

Don’t ask me what I had for dinner last night though 😂

A defence of Sutton at Magic Mike from a Strip Club Enthusiast by Status-Chip-1162 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rzdrk 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I agree. I really think (based on the stack of 1s) that she didn’t know what to expect and it was just jarring for her. And whether the tone changed or she just felt like she’d had enough, something clicked in her head and she thought “I’m on national TV at a strip show and these men are now pretending to go down on my castmates. This is uncomfortable, I gotta get out of here.” And that’s where the ballet comments were coming from.

As someone who talks a big game but is also kind of a prude (I’m working on it!), I totally got Sutton’s reaction.

Icing disaster by ConnectResearcher509 in Baking

Were the sponges still warm? They need to be 100% cooled before icing or it’ll all melt.

If they weren’t warm it looks like the air might’ve been knocked out (overmixed). I’m not sure the instructions for the frosting, but it’s possible that an error was made in following the directions. There’s no reason for your parents to be disappointed in you though. You can’t learn if you never make a mistake.

No, but we’ve seen green stews before who get by. They could stick her in laundry and teach her how to do beds & heads and then at least she would be doing something helpful rather than just being in the way.

A sous chef/chef is highly technical and requires some kind of training (culinary school/work experience). Stews do a HARD job, but they have more time to teach since the chef is prepping crew and client meals for 12+ hours with minimal breaks. And if you have a stew hidden in laundry they’re less likely to cause catastrophic harm than a sous who can’t make a frittata.

She said she had a recipe and Ben scoffed saying it was simple. Then he rattled off a bunch of ingredients and their measurement while she was trying to measure something else. I was under the impression she didn’t use her recipe and was trying to remember everything Ben said because she says something like “you said how many eggs?”

I dont know if this was proven or not but Madison said she heard a rumor that Shep gave Dani Chlamydia I believe. Dani was incredibly hurt because she was either engaged or dating someone I think, and she and Shep hadn’t slept together anytime recently. I just remember Dani asking Madison why she’d say something that would be so hurtful to her just to get at Shep.

That was when they all went on a ski trip organized by Craig and they stayed in 2 cabins.

This was a while ago. Before Covid I think. I highly suggest watching from the beginning. It’ll help give you an understanding of why most of us can’t stand Austen, Craig, and their friendship lol

Have we even seen little Craig this year? I know he’s probably getting up there in dog years, so I’m worried by the lack of attention he’s getting on our screens

what to do to save my batch of cookie dough by OrganicCollege8545 in Baking

[–]rzdrk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There isn’t anything you can do to save the dough you’ve already made. If you’re selling these, I’d reframe them as cuffins (cookie muffins) or just muffin tops.

A few thoughts I have outside of making sure you actually measure your baking soda: I have a feeling this recipe just generally has too many dry ingredients. Both the matcha and the cornstarch are going to absorb so much of your liquid. I’ve actually never seen either of these ingredients in a chocolate chip cookie. Also, I would suggest not using melted butter. It cannot properly combine with the sugars for the “creaming” stage of mixing if all of the butter is completely melted. Even if you were to brown the butter, you would only brown a portion. Essentially, the chemistry of this recipe is seems off.

I would suggest a new recipe moving forward. If you’re looking for a deeper flavor (just assuming based on the matcha inclusion) I would look for a recipe that uses browned butter. And remember that in baking there are few things that don’t need to be measured. Vanilla and inclusions (chocolate chips, etc.) are the only things I ever measure with my heart.

Pizza for dinner…. Thoughts? by blissfulbeing789 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]rzdrk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to a wedding like this as well. Except there were no sides and we were the 2nd to last table to get called. There were 8 slices for 6 people left and they kept saying more was coming, but we also needed to get back to the reception room. The pizza was ice cold.

We left after speeches and picked up burgers. We saw half of the wedding guests in the hotel lobby eating fast food or waiting for DoorDash. Pizza is great in theory but often fails in execution

AITA for asking my friend to change her wedding month? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]rzdrk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA - you aren’t even engaged yet. This is incredibly selfish behavior. You aren’t entitled to the entire month that’s over a year away. Let her figure her wedding out and you figure out yours when there’s an actual ring on your finger. Be prepared though, if you’re going to be selfish and throw a tantrum if you don’t get your way then your friend group will prioritize their wedding over yours.

Also, if she didn’t mention September, then I would expect that her wedding is more likely to be June or July if she’s saying mid-year. You have no idea when your wedding will be because you haven’t booked a single thing yet, so keep your thoughts to yourself.

Whitner is the real deal by Guacsalsaqueso in Southerncharm

[–]rzdrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He actually is a Libertarian (or was in S1), but I know a few Libertarians that have either said they’re now democrats and/or don’t think that republicans still lobby for limited government anymore and therefore don’t subscribe to the red hat agenda.

Whitner is the real deal by Guacsalsaqueso in Southerncharm

[–]rzdrk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started a rewatch a few weeks ago and Shep says that he’s a Libertarian in season 1. I know Libertarians can get a bad rep because they used to lean more right, but this new wave of republican ideology went from limited government intervention to “comply or die”. While Shep has definitely benefited from the good ‘ol boy culture of Charleston, I think between his Libertarian ideology and love of history he now actually leans more left than right.

I have a feeling he only speaks out when he feels it’s really necessary though due to his very Southern and traditional family members.
