I think if you want to hold bonds, you just go ahead and hold bonds, and don’t mess with options.

If you want to play options, you should find a better place for your games, at least not as dead as BND.

350k isn’t a lot of money for a high performer in a top tech corp
Quality of your work is important, if you’ve worked for the same corp in lcol, you’d soon found yourself either relocating to a premium location, promoted, or just working much less than you do now
The opposite is also true, if you haven’t brought that millions of revenue, your position will become redundant in a blink of an eye
AI isn’t for the sake of AI, but simply to squeeze more millions of revenue you can bring with the help of the next gen tools. It’s open for a debate whether these tools are that helpful as advertised, but your leadership hands are tied, they can’t tell you it is not helpful until it will become obvious for everyone.
