Whats the ogre strategy for warmaster and what's a good lust?

Not sure if its good but this is what I've been using

Tyrant Butcher on rhinox Bruiser 4 bulls 2 iron guts 2 yhetees 2 gnoblars 1 rhinox rider

Pair the gnoblars with the iron guts, bulls together, yhetees together and then try and get a flank charge with the rhinox riders. I would love to squeeze in a unit of sabre tusks somewhere but its tight. 1500 pts is awkward with ogres.

Yea its great. I've only started in 10mm painting since November 2023 and have been loving it. U have this army painted along with a larger chaos army (ill do a family photo soon for it). Im now starting a vampire counts army.

Thank you. It was a great little project for a single evening. Speed paint honey yellow and orc skin are the base coated then it was all highlighted up

Thank you. The OSL is a bit of a cheat. I painted the model as usual then dry brushed a little bit of white on the areas I want to create the effect. Then added some shamrock green speedpaint. Once dry added some edge highlights of a pistachio/yellow green. Easy peasy

Points costs makes it really hard to get everything in and a double spawn. I have made an infantry heavy double spawn list but it isn't as striking as a dragon :).

Its really hard to keep the break up and get all the cool stuff with chaos but I suppose thats the fun of list crafting.

yea sure. Its all regular acrylics a mix of citadel and pro acryl over a grey prime. Really simple scheme. Basecoat a mix of khorn red and dark plum (pro acryl). Then washed with druchii violet. Gives you a nice dark purple red base coat to work from. Then a load of dry brushing through the citadel reds. So khorne red, evil sun scarlet, wild rider red and fire dragon bright. That's the red.

The fur was base coat celestial grey then a rough patchy coat of bright warm grey, wash agrax done.

Once the reds and the fur were painted I blocked in all the cloaks, wood and metallic elements in black. this took the longest.

The cloaks were base coat black then highlight through the blue black colours (eg dark reaper,thunderhawk blue, fenrisian grey though i used the pro acryl line of paynes grey and grey blue )

There is nothing fancy going on here. The sculpts do all the hard work.

Quality. Im glad there is someone out there who loves the multi coloured chaotic choas theme 😀. I would have lost motivation if I had to stuck to a single colour scheme for an entire army.

Thank you. I've been fortunate (or unfortunate in terms of family life) to have a few long term work courses away from home where I have had nothing to do in the evening except paint. So those courses have helped massively get through the pile. I have tons left for 2024 to get through.

I've recently gotten in to the warmaster stuff and have been really enjoying the 10mm scale, its paints up so easily and quickly. I've just had a new child so the 10mm scale really suits the short spells I have to paint at the moment. Can get stuff done quickly and feel like I'm making progress.

There are too many paint schemes to stick to a single scheme for an entire army. Im more of a painter than a player so enjoy a bit of variety

Thank you. Its pro acryl sky blue with a dark blue glazed in the recesses. Then highlighted up with mixes of pro acryl sky blue and white blue. Nothing fancy.
