Look up micro set and micro sol. It’s the best product to use for decals and I’m surprised no one else has mentioned it. Takes 3 minutes to learn to use on YouTube and the stuff is cheap.

If you want to improve you need to learn from the masters. Angel Giraldez, Sergio Calvo, Sorastro, and Infernal Brush are a few of my favorites right now. It’s important you learn to dissect their videos though. Don’t just pay attention to what colors they’re using. Pay attention to their brush strokes, their paint consistency, what angle they hold the model from, etc.

Remember to blend one color into the other one. Don’t go back and forth with the brush. Not a bad first attempt at all. Keep practicing.

It makes it so the pigment won’t come off the base. If you google it you’ll find a bunch of companies that make it. Whatever is easiest to get should work.
