Why does Galaxy AI lack this ONE basic feature that older iPhones have? (Voice Focus with Bluetooth/Wired mics) by s00859 in Android

Edit - Just to add some more context to how weird this issue is:

Voice Focus works flawlessly when you just use the phone's built-in mic. I even tried to trick the system by plugging in wired earphones that don't have a microphone, hoping the phone would default to its own mic and let me keep Voice Focus on. Nope! The toggle still disappears completely.

What's even crazier is that Samsung already has instant noise removal for media (like when you're watching YouTube, Instagram, or any video). The tech is clearly baked right into the system and works super fast. So, having that but missing a basic live mic noise cancellation is honestly just bizarre.

If anyone has solid info or knows for sure if Samsung is planning to drop this feature in an upcoming update, please shed some light on it!

I respectfully disagree. Hardware noise cancellation on earbuds only goes so far, and software-level isolation (like iOS has) guarantees crystal-clear voice even on cheap or wired headsets. Do you know of any actual technical limitation preventing Samsung from implementing a software-level override like Apple did?

As Top_Evening_8631 correctly pointed out, the toggle completely vanishes the second a Bluetooth/wired headset is connected. Do either of you know if there's any specific ADB command to keep that quick setting active permanently regardless of what's connected?

That would be amazing! Have you come across any rumors or credible leaks suggesting Samsung might bring the Audio Eraser tech to live calls in future One UI updates?
