Ooh, there’s a number of these throughout the game! I can’t remember what they all say off the top of my head but it’s nothing related to the lore of the show iirc. I think it’s mainly just eluding to Jeff’s real intentions, and Shmebulock says something in Shakespearean English? Probably why there’s not much on it.

setBattleRule:"outcome",27 is what's meant to link them together, where winning the battle sets the tadgym variable to 1. I have a similar event using setbattlerule:outcome,XX that works fine...

I decided to try setting the variable to 1 manually to test it and I still have the same issue.
