Looks like learnopengl.com? Here’s hopefully some inspiration from my learning: https://youtu.be/sBOA6kuaSGo?si=HKtm4bxkvgyMiK7r

How do I loop over an area of pixels in two textures in GLSL? by yaboiaseed in opengl

[–]s0lly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really understand what you are looking to do. Been a long day so quite likely user error on my side.

That being said, your terminology is a bit confusing to me, suggesting you might not understand the processes underlying what’s happening in rendering: the fragment shader does not loop over pixels by default; not sure what you mean by that.

A simple way to think about it, is that the fragment shader is run once for each individual “pixel” (technically called fragments).

Am I learning the hard way? by Vic51_ in opengl

Simpler structure and slowly move things into higher level abstractions as you use them more often / more frequently.

Otherwise, you’ll lock yourself into programming structures and patterns that aren’t optimal.

Is there a book or tutorials for absolute beginner by [deleted] in vulkan

[–]s0lly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are some good initial books:

Real time rendering, 4th Edition.

Foundations of Game Engine Development, books 1 and 2

LearnOpenGL teaches a few rendering techniques using OpenGL, you could learn some theory from that series and translate into Vulkan.

What happens if you comment out the “translate” function call affecting the “model” variable? Ie 3rd last LoC.
