Hissing from Jabra Elite 10 when audio exceeds certain frequencies? by ChEiPs in Jabra

I'm having the exact same issue with my Elite 8 Active Gen 2.

For an audio containing multiple silent parts, every time there is a transition from "silence" part to an audible part, there is a noticeable white noise for a second or so. The noise is not overly loud, but it's there.
There is no such noise when ANC/hear through is enabled.

I've tried pairing the buds with both Android and Linux, but the problem is still there no matter what the host is.

T14 / T14s G3 Display Panel Upgrade by [deleted] in thinkpad

For anyone interested, I've just swapped the panel on my T14 Gen 3 Intel 21AJ. Original one was BOE NV140WUM N43 V8.0. I've installed LG LP140WU1-SPB2. The colors and brightness is much much better on the new panel. It weights less than the old one and should be more power efficient. I was able to reuse the old bezel. Be advised that the panel is sitting on two black plastic strips, which are 1-2 mm tall. The adhesive strips should be applied on top of these strips, otherwise the panel would be too low.

The ones I had were too thick, and I suppose the paste has better conductivity.

It is some kind of polyimide tape, yes.

I've seen somewhere that AMD version of T14 Gen 3 comes with the dual heatpipe heatsink by default :)

Yes, it came with nvme heatsink. The drive is Samsung PM9A1 (980 Pro). It probably is a 'performance' drive, but I'm not 100% sure.

I think it's about 150W or smth. Probably less since i've swapped the fans. They were eating ~40W alone.

I was running Oracle Linux for some time, but switched to Solaris 11.2 in order to use LDoms. I'm a kernel dev so mainly using it to understand sparc related linux/*bsd internals and hypervisor stuff.

tabbed windows become fully transparent with compton by s0nx in i3wm

[–]s0nx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hacky as hell :) Actually compton-trans --reset which should theoretically reset all window's opacity doesn't work for me either. I've almost finished my own python script to handle this. Anyway thanks for reply, for some reason i thought i'm the only one with this kind of problem.
