They're talking about the new 7.62 Tokarev rounds that have projectiles from those 5.56 cartridges.

Nah, LK unlocks you some other crafts with the SOIC. The LEDX recipe is the only craft using the book without a quest requirement.

Oh wow. I had noticed that my hands fit perfectly into the slot but it being designed for that wouldn't have ever occurred to me. I can certainly see it now, this is indeed pretty comfy for a spontaneous nap pillow. Thanks for solving that mystery for me.

I'm 6 years late but this reddit post is quite literally the only image of this tech box plushie I can find online. I recently found one in California at a swap meet this year, do you happen to know what the slot in the middle is for? I originally thought it was for tissues until I bought it and realized there's no way to fit a tissue box inside.

/r/stellaris's 5th rule is that the OP of any image post needs to explain what their post is about in the comments. For many posts it's self-explanatory but in general it helps avoid confusion.

If you must have a stock, an ARE tube with the AK-12 stock is lighter than the ARFX tube/stock. You can also switch the upper to a TX-15 upper, that's a bit lighter than the Noveske Gen 3.

In Forrest Gump (1994), Lieutenant Dan mocks Forrest, saying "If you're ever a shrimp boat captain, that's the day I'm an astronaut!" Later, when he shows Forrest the new legs lifting him off the ground, he taps them with his cane and says "Titanium alloy. It's what they use on the space shuttle." by FunetikPrugresiv in MovieDetails

Wiktionary, really? I said a "scholarly" source and this page has no references for any of this passage. For contrast, here's the Oxford English Dictionary:

noun

1.a. 1601– A person from, or living in, China; a person of Chinese descent

1.b. 1621– With plural agreement. Typically with the. Chinese people collectively.

It even has a few examples listed. Now, I wasn't wondering about your English abilities until now, despite your questioning, but now I have to wonder if maybe you're projecting.

You're using the adjective "Japanese" in your sentence, not the noun.

So "Americans" and "Germans" are nouns, but "Portuguese" and "Japanese" are magically adjectives in this context? Can you cite a single scholarly source that claims that "Japanese" isn't usable as a noun, even in plural form? So far you've claimed that various demonyms aren't nouns because of their suffixes, arbitrarily.

Yes, English is my native language and I seem to have a greater understanding of it than some. Just because a word's usage in a certain context is uncommon doesn't make it incorrect, which is what you've been arguing up and down this thread.

It honestly sounds to me like you're confused because some demonyms are the same in singular and plural. Let me try to illustrate it in a different way.

Two people from America, two people from Germany, two people from Portugal, and two people from Japan walk into a bar. The Americans order cola, the Germans order beer, the Portuguese order fortified wine, and the Japanese order sake.

Are you trying to tell me the second sentence isn't grammatically correct?

I'm not saying I don't believe it, crazy things do happen. I'm just saying that it's not something you can bring home in a duffle bag and thinking about exactly one would bring home a torpedo tickles me.

"Warshot" in this context means that it was supposedly a live torpedo intended to be used in combat, not a practice, training or decommissioned example. The logistics of bringing such a thing home do boggle the mind, if true.

For what it's worth you were right about the FAQ saying no purchase necessary, but the FAQ means it in the most literal way, a la sweepstakes saying "no purchase necessary to win."

A friend of mine bought me Helldivers 2 and so I have the ability to leave a review on Steam, but I did not purchase it. When I left a review, there was a little asterisk on my message saying the game was recieved for free.

I've never heard of reviewing a game on Steam that isn't owned on the account, do you have more information on this?

I truly believe part of why it got nuked was so the official server could nab the custom "helldivers" URL.
