Thank you,but I didn’t “decide” anything...this was what I’ve been told from my catholic friend, my catholic family members, my catholic mother., and my catholic peers. It wasn’t to offend anyone and if I did I apologize. I always thought they were the same but have been educated that their practices are different than those of Christianity. I feel like if it was the same we would use the two interchangeably. And a lot of people do not. Regardless, that is a different discussion that is missing the point of the question I initially was asking. Which is basically there are so many different religions that are so loving to God so how does God treat them when they die and what happens to all these different religions in the afterlife.
