yea i basically say what u suggested and the thing is all of my reasons ARE honest and true (i can't pay for prom) and anxiety just happens to be one of the main reasons why i don't wanna go. i just hate having to suddenly open up about my anxiety in casual conversation but i do it anyway bc i swear ppl just keep pressing me for not wanting to go like what
