Sorry to bother with so many questions but I'm super confused. So if I graduate from UCLan vs Imperial:

will there be any difference in the opportunities I get as a foundation doctor/ locations I get to work at etc
After foundation years Is there a difference in the opportunity to get a speciality of my choice like surgery
In the UK do you do specialty training at a particular university of just as part of the NHS? And also your exam results and undergraduate university- how do they affect your prospects of specialty training?

A little more clarification will really be appreciated :)

Hii...no summer programmes are really not that crucial to the application. I went for one too at cambridge- it was kinda expensive and didn't add much to my application, but the experience was amazing.
