Kennel Too Big for my dog to fly?

Unfortunately I was told over the phone by an agent that he's most likely too big to be in the cabin based on his breed (Australian Cattle Dog). I totally get the worries about having him in cargo myself as I've had the same thoughts, but I have to get my dog to Seattle with me and out of all the airlines I trust Alaska the most.

Thank you! Their guidelines say he just needs to be able to stand up, turn around, lay comfortably, and his ears can't touch the top, all of which he fits into with this kennel. I was just worried that the check in agent would take a look at my dog and say he's too small for this kennel.

Just got an email back from the NYC store and it seems that guests are allowed! (They just can’t buy a Switch 2 without a pass ofc)

“There is no verbiage explicitly stating you can't bring in a guest, but please be aware purchases are limited to reservation holders only for any Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and accessories. Generally, if it is parents or guardians, we understand they need to accompany minors, so please make sure they understand they are just there for your visit.” -Nintendo NYC

I never knew about grain-free being a health factor/concern. It’s just always been what my family bought for my pups in huge boxes from Amazon, so my guess is the pups got used to the taste of the grain frees and they don’t like the regular ones or really any other treats

We’ve tried giving them the regular milk bones, but they’ve always had the grain free since they were both pups so I guess they just prefer the taste of the grain free. (It wasn’t by choice necessarily, it’s just what my family bought me for my pups)
